We had so much fun. The cottage was right in the little town and so we had a store down the street, a waterfall to hike to, Urquhart Castle was close by and the museum for Nessie was just right up the street. The cottage was clean, amply supplied and the host was on site as well if we needed help. She was quick to respond to questions. When we arrived, our host met us and showed us our cottage. She explained everything. We want you to know you can trust this site, our host and her cottage. Thank you for such a wonderful trip! Our host had a bottle of wine and a whole cake for us when we arrived, which was so nice of her!

About the host
Hosted by Jane Murray
I am from the Isle of Skye and my husband is from Aberdeen. We relocated to Loch Ness in 2021 and have fallen in love with the beauty of this area. Hospitality is something we are both passionate about and we feel our cottage is quite the gem surrounded by such scenery.
Why they chose this property
We looked all over Scotland for the right home to continue in the hospitality trade and we chose this area for its beauty peacefulness and the surrounding walks. Most of all the view.
What makes this property unique
We think our property is unique because of its setting. The birds can be heard all day and the views are so pretty, We have beautiful sunsets and sunrises and often double rainbows. It is safe and set back away from the crowds. You have a gated drive to park directly outside the cottage - and we live on site.
