The wildlife will also amaze you with dozens of birds visiting the garden bird house, regular sightings of red and sika deer, pine martens, pheasants, osprey, woodpeckers, red squirrels, bats and at night you are guaranteed to hear the occasional owl.

Fishing is allowed from either of The Cottage's private beaches (there is a shingle and a rock beach), accessible down steps from the garden. Visitors have caught brown trout & salmon.
