Pant - meaning 'hollow' or 'small valley' in Welsh - is an old stone cottage at the gateway to Southern Snowdonia, and the entrance to the Eryri National Park. The cottage is surrounded by beautiful scenery, making it a great holiday destination for those who want to explore both Mid Wales and the North. The house is set over two levels with the living areas on the ground floor and bedrooms and bathroom on the first floor, as well as an enclosed garden and access to an adjacent-running stream.
The cottage sleeps up to 5 people plus an infant, in 3 bedrooms that can be found on the first floor level. There are 2 doubles and a single, and upon request, a cot can be supplied also for an infant. All the bedrooms have a wardrobe, bedside table and wonderful views across the surrounding countryside. There is a family bathroom has a bath with shower overhead, WC and wash basin.
Downstairs on the ground floor is where you will find the living area; a sitting/living room and a separate kitchen-diner. The living room is cosy and has a lovely log burner, TV, sofa and two comfy armchairs. The kitchen-diner has a dining table and 5 chairs, cooker with an electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge , freezer, and plenty of crockery and kitchen utensils. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer for your use too, to give you every creature comfort you could need in this wonderful home-from-home.
The large garden is fully enclosed, and there is access to stream on one side of the garden on the other side of the fence, and some trout fishing is included in the price of the rental.
There is parking for up to 3 cars. Bed linen, towels and an initial supply of logs for the log burner are supplied.
Please note that electricity is by coin meter, so remember to bring coins with you. Pant accepts up to 3 dogs are no additional charge.
Llanymawddwy, is found nestled between Dinas Mawddwy and Llanuwchllyn, at the base of the Bwlch y Groes pass that spans across the mountains from Lake Bala to the Dovey Valley. This picturesque countryside location offers immediate access to walking trails and is conveniently located near Lake Vyrnwy, which offers both walking and cycling paths. Additionally, the stunning sandy beaches of Barmouth and Tywyn are a mere fifteen miles away.
