Poire, 2 bedroom family cottage

Poire is a 2 bedroom gite.

The front door opens into a lounge with two comfortable sofas and exposed oak beams.
To the left is a modern dining room/kitchen, including a fan oven, gas hob, extractor fan, dishwasher, fridge with freezer, microwave, kettle, coffee maker and toaster.
On the first floor, there are two bedrooms: a master bedroom with a dressing room equipped with a queen-size bed and its bathroom with WC; a second bedroom with twin beds and its bathroom with bath and WC.

There is also a terrace in front of the house facing south overlooking the fish pond, then the gardens, playground and pool enclosure.
It is equipped with a table, parasol and barbecue.

The gite is private; the pool, gardens, playground and laundry room are shared with other travellers.
La Lohuas is an old farmhouse with character, typical of the region. It is built of stone, wood and slate. Bathed in sunlight, its charm is enhanced.

The six gîtes open onto a courtyard with a fish pond.
Each of them has a terrace where you can enjoy the sunshine and birdsong.

The various outdoor areas allow you to relax and offer your children something to play with, even during the occasional rainfall, thanks to the covered play area.
The secure, covered and heated swimming pool with waterfall and sunbathing area is very popular with everyone.

It is a great place to meet other families and your children will enjoy making new friends.

We will be happy to show you the surrounding area and tell you about the various walks you can do as well as the tourist and family activities in the region.

Situated in a quiet area, close to the main road, you can easily reach the medieval town of Dinan (10 min), Saint-Malo (35 min), Dinard (30 min), and the Mont-Saint-Michel (50 min).
You will benefit from the beaches (30 min) and all the leisure activities offered by the sea and the seaside towns while staying in a peaceful and spacious place. You will avoid the high traffic and its nightly nuisances.

All the necessary shops and two supermarkets with drive services are located 5 minutes away.
A small grocery shop with local products is available.
In high season, a bakery service completes the services provided.

Parking is available on site.
Many facilities for small children are available on request.

Very friendly hosts, a familiar atmosphere, the gites were very well equipped, a lot of activities provided to keep the children busy and happy, the swimming pool was very well looked after and kept clean, the breakfast service. The surrounding area offered a great variety of activities suitable for the whole family.

High quality accommodation with everything we need for our children, great facilities on site and lots of little extras that make a big difference eg the amount of thing provided in the kitchen (washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs, coffee). Location is ideal for travel from the UK and for days out in the area.

A perfect family stay in Brittany

We could not have enjoyed our stay more with Emmanuel and family. The whole farm was ideally set up for children, with the animal feeding, pool and games (trampoline, summer house, boules) a HUGE hit. We only stayed a week but wish it had been longer! The gite was not fancy but ideally suited to our needs, with comfortable beds and children's crockery. Great location to walks/runs on the canal and perfectly situated to explore the region - we loved Saint Malo, Dinan, and Cancale.

Nous avons bien apprécié votre accueil, gentillesse et bienveillance.

Le lit et/ou les matelas étaient excellents. On aurait aimé plus de luminosité dans le salon et la cuisine, le mobilier était trop sombre, la lumière fait du bonheur et une ambiance beaucoup plus agréable. Votre gîte a du potentiel, surtout pour les familles avec des enfants ce qui est très bien et important, faites de la publicité dans ce sens! Faites bien attention à votre santé, c’est votre plus grand capital, l’otite à répétition doit être vu correctement! Cordialement, Wolfram Otto

We would like to offer you a place to relax, get away from it all and recharge your batteries as a family.
We are happy to make this magnificent place live, which was first a farm where many animals lived and then has been renovated into different gîtes over the last twenty years.

We aim to make your day-to-day organisation easier by providing you with everything you may need and allowing you to travel light.
All the gîtes are designed for families and to allow you to get to know other families if you wish.
The shared play areas and swimming pool allow children to make new friends.

We are passionate about local produce and gastronomy and will be happy to help you discover the riches of our region.
