The town's abundance of black and white timbered buildings, narrow cobbled streets, unique shops, tea rooms, and traditional pubs, along with the acclaimed Judges' Lodgings, a Victorian museum complete with stunning judges' apartments, servants' quarters, courtroom, and cells, make it clear why it received this award. The town features music and art festivals all through the year in addition to a farmers' market every month.
