Gite des Chirons is a secluded, high-specification conversion of an old forge with thick granite walls and spacious accommodation for 6 people. The house is nestled in a tiny hamlet just outside the small town of Moncoutant, on the border between Deux-Sevres and the Vendee, in western France. Its peaceful and idyllic location offers a relaxing rural retreat.
This beautiful property comfortably sleeps six. There is a king-size master bedroom with sofa and dressing area plus two further generous double bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room. All the bedrooms are large and airy, with black-out Velux blinds and black-out curtains. Linen and towels are provided and changed weekly.
There is one large family bathroom upstairs and bedroom 2 has an ensuite shower room. There is also a shower room downstairs. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped with kitchen table, island with breakfast bar, gas oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and Kitchen Aid appliances.
The spacious living room is very cool in summer months and has leather sofas and chairs plus an extendable dining table for 6 people and a wood burner for chillier days. Both the living room and kitchen have French and British TV and there is fast-speed satellite broadband throughout the house and garden.
