Stunning Coastal Cottage - Sleeping 4 in 2 Bedrooms - Pool and Beach Access Included.

Welcome to Spoonbill Cottage - located in the heart of The Bay Filey Holiday Village (see below for more information).

Named after the amazing Spoonbill bird this is a lovely cottage for a family break.

Enter into the hallway with access to the downstairs cloak / WC. Walk through into the large open plan lounge (with smart tv). dining room and fully fitted kitchen including dishwasher, washer/dryer etc

Upstairs the property comprises of 1 double bedroom and 1 double bedroom (with full size single bunk above) with a large family bathroom complete with bath and overhead shower,

Off the lounge area are french doors opening onto a private furnished patio, surrounded by large, shared garden and landscaped grounds.

Travel Cot and High Chair are available for use free of charge (own bedding required).

We leave a few games for our guests to use. This warm and cosy house is ideal for breaks all year round.

Some amenities are chargeable locally like food and drink, tennis and any activities operated by Away Resorts such as Archery and Crafts.

Lovely cottage, few things looking tired, curtains not all on poles and settee a bit old but apart from that enjoyed our stay very clean, plenty of cutlery, glasses and table wear. Would definitely come again

Short break

Cottage was perfect for a short break as a family with the dog. Great location, so close to the beach and a clifftop walk. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a few nights away. Good to be able to use the pool too.

Excellent, comfortable stay

Had a brilliant 3 night stay in January. The house is well equipped with everything we needed. Clean and tidy. Beds were very comfortable. Great location! Already looking to return!

Short stay at the bay Filey

We had a very comfortable stay at Spoonbill cottage, it was very local to the amenities and only a short ride into Filey, A long walk if you are a senior citizen to the beach (hilly) but worth it lovely walk into Filey.They have activities for adults and Children .

Short break away

This is a lovely comfortable holiday home. Ideally situated on the Bay development for all the amenities and a short walk to the beautiful beach of Filey. The cottage is equipped with all the necessary basics plus a washing machine and dishwasher. Free WIFI available. Plenty of towels and the beds very comfortable. A useful file with information about the Bay and surrounding areas is also available.

Relaxing Mums Weekend

We had a fantastic stay at Spoonbill cottage and would highly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing and stress free break. Location on the Bay was excellent with plenty of parking just behind for security. The cottage had everything we needed with a couple of consumable extras provided which was a nice touch. The access to leisure facilities was a real bonus and we found everything we needed on site. A really short walk to the beach and a nice walk to Filey. Cottage was lovely, clean and comfortable and we would definitely stay here again if we were to come without the rest of our families (it would be too small otherwise) but would also visit the Bay again in a larger property with families.

Spoonbill Cottage

Fantastic stay at Spoonbill cottage. The only thing negative I would say is that I received far far too many emails and text messages about it. I counted 19 text messages up to the holiday, 3 max would be sufficient. So many duplicates and such a waste of time and energy.

Thank you for your review and we are glad you had a good time. Im sorry you felt there were too many messages BUT this is not of our making. You will recall that YOU changed the dates of your holiday and I did advise that the system will ensure you get the information for the original and the revised dates and you agreed to this. Secondly we moved to our new interactive guidebook which has had really good feedback from all other guests and this may have given the impression of duplication but they messages were bespoke to your holiday. Lastly we had a water leak near your property and as a courtesy we text you to warn you about this and when it was resolved. If you would rather we hadn't done this and you were out of water without warning we could have done that but all other guests were grateful for the warning and communication. We look forward to welcoming you back soon.

Spoonbill cottage

When we first arrived at Spoonbill cottage we were delighted with the peace and quiet of the Holiday Park and the cleanliness. No chip papers or other rubbish blowing about in the wind! The cottage itself was clean, airy and extremely well equipped. We were very impressed with the location of the cottage just a few minutes walk to the pub, shop and beach access. You can walk down the ramp to the beach but it's a steep climb back up though. Anyway we will certainly visit again next year. Thanks to Anthony fir all information received. Excellent job.
