Walk everywhere!!!

We found easy parking and walked everything. Catania is alive at night and thus Gorgeous apartment puts you a less than a km away from nightlife and day sightseeing. Loved everything about this apartment simply well done and stunning. Check-in was a breeze.

A long weekend in Catania

We could not fault the property - it was just as described in the listing - it was perfect for just the two of us, but 4 people might struggle. The immediate area is a little ‘shabby’ but only a short walk to via Garibaldi, which is a long straight street to Piazza del Duomo. Good bus services to explore the surrounding area, we visited Taormina and Siracusa / Ortigia.

Catania stay Nov 2024

the biggest concern it the location - even it is located relatively close (15 min) from Cathedral, the area is not that clean and nothing around. We stayed just one night so it was ok but I would not recommend staying there longer. The place is very small, the first bedroom does not have a door and the second bedroom you need to climb up with the ladder

For a Short stay - Perfect

Das Apartment war sauber und hatte eine gute Ausstattung. Die Küche war voll eingerichtet. Der obere Teil der Wohnung war sehr warm. Diese Wärme konnte selbst der extra dafür vorgesehene Ventilator nicht ausreichend senken. Allerdings war die Schlüsselübergabe super leicht und unkompliziert. Genauso wie er Kontakt zum Host bei Problemen oder Fragen. Dieser war freundlich, zuvorkommend und gut erreichbar. Alles in einem ein schöner Aufenthalt in der Wohnung. Die Lage ist nahe der Innenstadt, allerdings die Gegend um die Wohnung nicht zu vornehm. Für einen Zwischenstopp ist die Wohnung und besonders die Stadt geeignet, für einen längeren Aufenthalt würde ich eine andere Stadt empfehlen, da uns Catania nicht besonders zugesagt hat.
