In the winter I run a ski chalet rental in the resort of Avoriaz in the French Alps - a fabulous car free resort high up at 1800 meters approximately half way between Geneva and Chamonix and in the summer we love to sail and visit Phuket where we also have a rental villa. I have 4 kids (all now all grown up) that spent their childhood on the ski slopes in France or the beaches of Phuket.
I bought my apartment in Edinburgh when my daughter attended the university for 4 years. I purchased it in 2016 in its original condition, as accommodation in the historic centre is difficult to come by and I spent a year gutting it and fully modernising and refurbishing it into a bright spacious comfortable apartment. I love renting properties and meeting people from all over the world. I look forward to your visit.

Edinburgh's Old Town is full of life. There are supermarkets, restaurants, cafés, a post office, pubs, take aways all outside the front door. It's only a 5 minute walk to the Royal Mile, but 5 minutes in the other direction takes you to The Meadows - a lovely open green park. There is a bus stop right outside the front door, but it's super easy to walk of approximately 5 minutes to the main Edinburgh sights. It is the heart of the Edinburgh University area and the Edinburgh Festival.
