About this property
Affordable Charming Vintage Lake Cottage · Cozy & Welcoming
Please Read Before Booking**
This is a vintage lake cottage, not a modern or newly built home. It has been lovingly cared for and thoughtfully styled, but it does show the character and quirks that come with age.
Guests may notice things like: • uneven floors or surfaces • creaky boards • a unique, non-symmetrical layout • older construction details that reflect the home’s history
These features are part of the cottage’s charm and are typical of homes from this era. If you’re looking for sleek finishes, perfect lines, or hotel-style accommodations, this may not be the best fit — and we want you to find a place you’ll truly enjoy.
If, however, you appreciate warmth, comfort, and a home that feels lived-in and welcoming, many guests find this cottage to be a peaceful and memorable retreat.

This was our 3rd stay at this cozy lakefront home. It is comfortable and affordable. The neighbors are very friendly and the host is responsive and courteous. The home is pet friendly, which is always something we look for in a rental, as my mom travels with her small dog. The screened-in porch on the back is great, especially with all the biting insects from the lake (it's a wonderful place to sit during the rain!) I recommend this home for any family trip or a get-together with friends. There is room for everyone! Thank you, Amy, for another memorable family vacation.
This property is pretty good. Nice location not too far from area attractions. We really enjoyed our stay

The price was less than half of other listings in the area. The home is pieced together. We experienced multiple issues. The home was not clean. The owner responded to our messages promptly.

Im really sorry you felt the home was not clean. Most all our guests have rated it high on cleanliness. As far as “Having a lot of issues”the only one you made me aware of was the tv. Guests After you did not have an issue so i believe that was user error. Regardless i hope you took in the scenery no matter what “piece” of the home you were in.
Place was exactly what we needed to get away and enjoy ourselves. Clean, comfortable and very cozy. Perfect peace and quiet. Super glad we found it. Will certainly go again. No

😀Thus is exactly what i love to see from our guests! Love that you got out on the water and enjoyed or little cottage! Welcome back any time!
Plenty of room to spread out and relax. Beautiful views from the back every day and night. Neighbors are so friendly. The nearby lakes were beautiful. And there’s a dock and ramp within a minute so very convenient.

So happy you enjoyed our little lake cottage! Beautiful pictures! Sunsets here can be pretty breathtaking. Welcome back any time
Very nice location. Kids enjoyed the outside area. They had lots of room to play. They loved the stuff cat in the table. Internet worked well. The gas stove was great. We enjoyed our week.
A very eclectic cabin that has had several additions over the years. If your not expecting a lot it has its charm, and for the price, not a bad place to get away. It is a bit away from everything but the owner gave us great info on local restaurants and such. It is and older home so some things are a bit dated, but nice to be near the lake and large yard and patio for entertaining.
We had a great stay. There was even two dogs came by daily to make us feel like we were just at home. There will definitely stay at this place again thanks.
We love this property! Beautiful view of lake, great neighborhood, friendly neighbors. This was our second time here and we have booked our next trip already.
It's a very relaxing setting surrounded by nature. The home itself is very comfortable and the owners are all about sharing the life rather your there for the night or the week. We stayed 5 nights and will be back again.

My husband and I have been married for 26 years and we have two boys. My husband works as a manager and bi-vocational pastor. I am a stay at home Mom and a consultant for Gold Canyon candles.
Why they chose this property
My inlaws lived in South Coon for many years before my father in law passed away in 2009. We had to sell their home on five acres to move my mother in law closer to us. This home gave us an opportunity to get back in South 'Coon for a getaway ourselves and to hopefully provide for our boys futures.
