The lodge is situated in a spacious area by the Bridlington golf links complex so it doesn’t feel crowded or overlooked.
The lodge was also spacious, comfortable and modern. It was the best lodge that we have stayed in and was very well equipped.
Marge’s Lodge was well equipped, clean and set in peaceful surroundings. Lots of lovely dog walks each day -just what we wanted. Faye ( the host ) was so pleasant with all communications and accommodated a last minute change of plans to enable my daughter’s dog to stay for 2 nights too.
This is our 2nd stay at the lodge and we loved it just as much as the 1st. Location is lovely and as it was colder than when we booked last time,
the heating and fire were very quick to warm the lodge. Fabulous stay!!!
This is a lovely lodge in a great location. The site is so peaceful you occasionally see deer in a morning and evening, and yet is still within easy reach of the beaches and town of Bridlington, and all the great coastal walks around Flamborough. Would definitely be coming back to this location, and would recommend it to anyone.
The Lodge was great and we really enjoyed our stay.
Flies were a bit of a nuisance and the frezer part of the fridge was unusable during the week we were there. We did report this on arrival to the property owner.
An idyllic retreat, little animation beyond the occasional dog-walker and ideal for a quiet stroll towards the shore. Nearby Flamborough is bracing enough and is also a handy place for fresh seafood and top class fish and chips.
Bridlington is easily reached and well-provided with shops for every need for a cosy evening in the well-appointed kitchen/diner.
Recommended for couple rather than families : there’s a pub within a short stroll through the trees, so what more could you ask?
Very impressed with the size of the lodge in Sewerby which had everything we needed, very clean, lovely shower, we were able to get in early which was nice.
The site was very quiet with lots of lovely walks which we saw deer most nights.
Really close to the sea which was a bonus
Lots of things to do & places to go nearby
We would definately go back in the future
Fabulous Lodge with everything you need to enjoy your stay .
A short distance from a beautiful walk across the cliffs to Bridlington Bay . Close to Danes Dbeach with some amazing walks .
Pet friendly , the perfect get away for a relaxing break with lots close by .
The cabin is beautifully presented and host was so helpful and fab communication.
Would highly recommend.
Although we knew it was a dog friendly property, we didnt expect to find lots of dog hairs on the caroets and floors..apart from that it was clean and tidy and had all you need for a pleasant holiday
Lovely comfy lodge but a few items need attention.
Very nice and comfortable, we really enjoyed our stay. However there was no bread knife which would have made cutting our loaves easier, also loose toilet seat in house bathroom and no dishwasher tablets or washing-up liquid. Not big comaints but I mention them as it would help future guests feel at home.
Have just returned from this stunning Lodge located just outside of Bridlington which itself is a fantastic seaside location with so much to do we need longer next time to explore.
The lodge is super modern and new but has such a warm and light feel to it as soon as you walk in it makes you smile every time you come back after a day out. Thought has clearly been put into its décor and with its outside area, also makes you feel like you are almost abroad somewhere as it is so relaxing.
If you do have children there is a large area where you can step out of the lodge and just enjoy a game of football or cricket etc and the walks for dogs are amazing as you are a stone throw from stunning views of the beach.
If you are a golfer its a perfect location as there is a links course within walking distance and if you venture just slightly further you can get the land train into Bridlington (if you don't fancy the small few minutes drive) and do the full seaside experience with beautiful sandy beaches, arcades, candy floss, sticks of rock, fish and chips. Simply the real seaside as we all remember it and should share with younger people.
To summarise, this lodge is perfect as it has everything you could possibly want from Netflix to 2 bathrooms. It is immaculately clean and even the extras like TVs in both bedrooms and parking for 2 cars if you have visitors is a bonus.
Its a huge 5 stars and we will be returning.
