Absolutely idyllic
It’s not often that I’m left lost for words; however I genuinely struggled for the first hour or so of being at the property due to being totally overwhelmed by how lovely it is!
From the furniture and fittings, to the pool, to the little extras such as the welcome food and wine package and complimentary toiletries, the owners have thought about every detail and the property is stunning.
Set in a very quiet location, the main noise you’ll hear is that of the crickets in the trees and grasses nearby… There are 2 good supermarkets within a 15 min drive, and it was less than an hour’s drive from Naples train station, to the airport and to Pompeii (all journeys that we did). The owners were responsive and incredibly helpful with communication and the welcome booklet had all the information we needed.
Only change we would have made would be another sofa as when we needed a break from the incredible heat, there weren’t many comfy seats for us as a family; that being said, the covered patio area at the back was great for card games and reading out of the sun!
The pool is a lovely size for a family of 3 or 4 and provided a great way to cool down - it was also a bonus in the evenings and we never felt worried about disturbing anyone due to the private setting.
You’ll need bug spray/anti-mosquito cream for certain but even the itchy bites didn’t stop us from enjoying every moment of our stay in this superb villa. We hope to return again!

Fantastisches Ferienhaus inmitten von Grillenzirpen
Fantastisch geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus! Der Pool ist wundervoll. Tolle Lage zu den historischen Stätten von Pompeji, Herkulaneum, Villa Oplontis, Capua! Aber auch ein Tipp zur Amalfi Küste und Neapel sind in nur 1 1/2 Stunden möglich!
