Wow wow wow! Amazing time spending my bachelorette here! The house and grounds are BEAUTIFUL and has everything you need! So glad I spent the weekend here. Perfect for large groups and for bachelorette parties!!! We all loved it. Beds are super super comfy too!

We came to this property to celebrate our elopement with close family. It was spectacular. The property is beautiful, the house is well equipped and has great modern decor. The amenities make being indoors and outdoors so fun and entertaining. I would 10000000% return. The hosts were incredibly responsive and professional with any issues that arose

This is a lovely venue with many amenities for a large group. Our 9 adults and 9 children all enjoyed the pool, kayaking in the lake and hanging out in the well equipped kitchen and home. The adults loved the hot tub and pool combo in the evenings. The firepit was loved by all.The host was responsive to our needs, and we took advantage of hiring one of their recommended chefs for a special occasion in-home meal.

Location, location, location. Our family stayed at Ivy Retreat on our recent UVA Football Weekend. This is a very nice property with accommodations for a large group. The most outstanding features are the beautiful setting with a scenic lake and close proximity to Charlottesville (located just 10 minutes west of town via I-64).The home's layout is a little quirky with a circular stair and elevator to access the second floor (with 4 bedrooms). The kitchen is quite large with an adjacent "sun room" looking out on the lake (our favorite spot). There are also two nice bedrooms on the first floor along with a large dining room and a cozy playroom (with a pool table and TV area).The home is well stocked with just about everything renters might need. Outdoors there is a heated pool, hot tub and basketball court. The host reached out to us before, during and after our stay.We enjoyed our stay and would certainly consider returning in the future.

We were very pleased with our accommodations at Ivy Springs. It was perfect for a multigenerational group celebrating my daughter’s 40th birthday. We loved being close to the winery’s and visited as many as we could on Saturday and Sunday. In the meantime, we swam, kayaked, played games, relaxed in the hot tub and enjoyed each others company while also enjoying our beautiful setting.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated and even more inviting than the photos. It was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed, making it easy to settle in and relax. The location was perfect, offering both convenience and a peaceful setting. we highly recommend this property to anyone that has a large family. The lake was suitable for activities like kayaking, fishing, paddle boarding, or just relaxing, The host was gracious, responsive, and paid attention to every detail, making our stay effortless and enjoyable. We will definitely rent this beautiful home again.

House is spacious and well appointed and so fun and interesting! We enjoyed exploring the design and appreciated all the extra touches for the season - especially the Christmas tree! The grounds were the highlight for much of our crew. The kayaks on the lake were so fun, as well as the fire pit area, basketball court, and large covered patio. Overall, a gorgeous, very clean yet comfortable home!

We loved our stay. The property was unique and so much fun! There's lots to do and plenty of space to do it! The house has all the amenities you could ask for so you aren't missing things from home while you stay there and the pool and hot tub were definitely exactly what we were looking for. We only had a couple very minor issues during our stay and the team was more than helpful in getting them resolved ASAP and were so hopeful.

The house and property are spectacular. We have stayed in many homes, in many locations and this one did not disappoint! The house was clean, well appointed and accurately described. The property is beautiful…even in the winter. We were concerned about having the house manager living on site, but as described, it was absolutely not a problem.

Great family stay

Beautiful grounds including lake, fire pits, kayaks, and basketball hoops. Had deers in evening and saw many bluebirds, herons, and even a black bear on the road a few miles away. Great pool, and hot tub. New gazebo is a great addition that you can sit in after it is dark outside and gives you shade poolside during hot days. Nice kitchen and large dining room. Enjoyed by everyone.

Great spot for large group

This property was the perfect spot for what we needed. My children and grandchildren, and I stayed there for two nights while we were in Charlottesville for my father’s funeral. The only drawback was that the pool is not heated and it was the first week of May, which, according to the description it should have been. Everything else about the beautiful property was great.
