A luxuriously finished log cabin close to Clifden town, and a perfect space for couples seeking a romantic getaway close to beautiful walks, lakes, and woodlands, while still being within a short ten-minute stroll of the bustling market town of Clifden. The cabin is located on the Connemara Greenway walking and cycling route, and it offers beautiful lake and mountain views. You will not be disappointed with the unrivalled views around every corner as you explore the region. Immerse yourself in unspoilt countryside, lake, bogland, mountains and woodlands.
Clifden town offers many bars, restaurants, shops, and services. Located on the Wild Atlantic Way, you are a just a short drive from a selection of beautiful sandy beaches where you can swim, walk, or enjoy kayaking, surfing, coasteering or paddle boarding. You will find many beaches dotted along the coastline and some of the more popular beaches can be found at Cleggan, Claddaghduff, Renvyle, Ballyconneely, and Roundstone. As well as having the Connemara Greenway on your doorstep, there are many more walking routes in the area which offer fabulous scenic views at every turn, including the Derrigimlagh Loop walk, and the various walking trails throughout Connemara National Park.
Local activities include fishing, hill walking, hiking, cycling, pony trekking, golf, boat trips, and much more. Festivals of note in Clifden town are Clifden Arts Festival, The Connemara Pony Festival, Clifden Traditional Music Festival, and many more throughout the year.

The cabin is ideally placed to offer guests privacy, with wonderful views, while being close to Clifden town and offering direct access to the Connemara Greenway and other local walks. It is finished to a very high standard with lots of luxurious finishes. The accommodation consists of a combined kitchen, dining and living room, a separate bedroom, and a bathroom and Wi-Fi is included.
Access to the cabin is via it's covered porch, and through the double doors into the open plan kitchen and living space. The modern fitted kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable self-catering stay. It includes fill size electric cooker, two zone electric hob, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, fridge with ice box, and ample tableware and cookware. The dining area includes a dining table and seating for two persons. The living room area is furnished with comfortable sofa, side table, and includes multi-channel smart TV.
The bedroom includes a luxurious double bed, lamps, and ample storage and hanging space for your belongings. From here you can also see the beautiful mountain and lake views. The adjoining modern en-suite bathroom includes WC, sink and a large shower cubicle with electric shower.
The front porch of the cabin is a natural extension of the open plan living and dining room space and is a wonderful area to sit and relax or use as a dining area in the warmer weather. It is furnished with outdoor table and chairs and offers beautiful lake and mountain views. A washing machine and storage space is available in the wooden shed at the side of the cabin. The cabin is electrically heated throughout. Bed linen and towels are provided. Heating, electricity and Wi-Fi is included in the rental price. Smoking is not allowed. Sorry, no pets. Not suitable for children and infants. Private parking is available on site for one car. Short breaks are available year-round.
A security deposit of €200 is required for this property. Our reservations team will arrange this with guests prior to arrival. Pre-authorisation of a payment card will be required.
