The house was beautiful! The kitchen & living room were bigger than I expected so it was perfect for our large family! The only problem was the master bathroom shower. It had not been cleaned very well & black mold was growing on the bottom of the shower door. The beach was great & is only a short walk from the house!

Cozy
Friends and I were very impressed with the house. It’s very welcoming, cozy and we loved the decor. We just feel at home in this place. The place were cleaned when I arrived. The location itself reminds me of my hometown; quite, and people are very friendly. Although, it was the spring break weekend and a lot of college kids partying on the beach; our kids had a lot of fun. (Just have to stay away from the drunk spring breakers) Overall, our weekend was great. No issues or whatsoever. We treated the house like ours so it stays cleaned.

The house was perfect for our family of 6 plus my parents~ photos were what you get but better (heated shower downstairs came in handy a lot plus the kids loved all the turtles!). Lacked a few kitchen necessities, but the grocery (literally across the street) had what we needed and was very reasonably priced. What I'd really like to comment on though is the beach~ as a mom of 4 (aged 3-12), I was impressed and thrilled at how quiet, close, and family friendly it felt! We did rent a golf cart to help with hauling all the toys and supplies, but made the walk without more than a few times. There was never a time I lost sight of my kids (which has happened a lot at other beaches) because even in July the beach was quiet!! To some people it might seem silly, but I loved being able to relax and enjoy my vacation instead of constantly looking my kids' heads amongst 20 other kids!

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and love our beach. We love our beach too and look forward to your return.
The property was even better than in the pictures! We loved it! It was clean and roomy and just so adorable decorated I wanted to move in and stay lol. We could see the ocean a bit from the deck and absolutely loved sitting on the back deck and feeding the turtles and birds ( I always tell my husband I’m a cheap date give me an animal to feed and I’m happy lol) the neighborhood was beautiful and clean and we met the man across the street who owns his place he was super nice! We loved loved the crystal beach town and Galveston thank goodness the COVID-19 scare didn’t start shutting things down until our trip was almost over. When I spoke with remax they had agreed to refund the days we had left if we had decided to leave but we stayed and just found things to do. My mom in law and my son and his girlfriend came and we had a great time. Will def8nately book again if we come back to Galveston area!

Thanks you so much for your wonderful review! We absolutely love it here on the beach and glad you and your family had such a wonderful stay with us.
Hope to see you again soon!
We had a great time at Surf’s Up for a long weekend getaway. Just a few things that kept the rating from a 5-star.
Pros: House was clean, spacious and perfect for our group of 7. We had 4 adults and 3 kids and all had plenty of space. We made our own meals and kitchen was accommodating. Hanging out underneath the house in the evenings was great. Picnic tables, grill and porch swing all were wonderful adds. The location to the beach was perfect - with just a short walk or drive.
Cons: The first night, not long after we arrived, a breaker was tripped (for no apparent reason) and power was off in the back bedrooms and bathroom. We received a call back from property manager within an hour and was able to switch it back on ourselves. Second night, happened again. We then got a call another day later that an electrician would be onsite to take a look. We had to stay at the house to wait on him and adjust our schedule due to the last minute notification. The WiFi was also not working. We sent a message to let them know and ended up getting a call that someone would be out to check it and we had to be back at the house to wait on the tech to arrive. Upon his arrival, he determined new parts were needed and we were without WiFi then for our stay. We selected this property mainly as it was one of few with WiFi, so was very disappointed. Warning: without wifi, signal is spotty at best at the house. While I appreciate the prompt service, we did have to adjust our schedules to be available for these two appointments.
Also, the back porch door doesn’t close securely and we were woken up second night by high winds banging the door. We propped it open with a chair on the patio as a workaround fix.
My daughter, 3 of her friends, and myself stayed in this pretty 3 BR/2BA. Just a short get away after their "graduation" 2020. Nice walk to the beach and short drive to places to eat. Home was clean and as expected. Would encourage those who want to cook at the home to bring all their own cookware and everything you need. There were a few utensils and enough plates, cups, drinkware, the pans were mostly unusable. The youngers enjoyed the beach and watching movies, and I enjoyed lounging! Was a great fit.
This property had a decent view of the beach and you can feed the turtles off the back porch! The kids loved that. It was about a 5 min walk to the beach and we enjoyed having a outdoor shower with warm water to rinse off in. He house was overall a great place to stay we would definitely come back!
We had a great relaxing time! Everything was great! No problems. It was fun feeding the turtles and birds off the back deck. And we were about 2 blocks from the ocean but we could see it and hear the waves! We had 11 people and everyone was comfortable! Thank you for sharing your beautiful house with us! We would definitely stay here again! :)
Me and my family go every year to the gulf and this one was hands down the best one. The house was amazing plenty of room and very nice. Will definitely go back maybe even to the same one. Thanks for making my family’s stay great!!
Short walk to the beach and plenty of room throughout the house for a good sized group. Won't hesitate to stay here again if available.

It was a beautiful house very spacious. The only concern I had was the TVs in the bedroom did not work and it was died bugs in the drawers and we seen one later that first night. Definitely will visit again doing the summer.

Super cute property but wasted $ on linens.
Property was great! Very cute. Kitchen very well stocked. Gave stars because I paid $110 extra for linens and they were there when I arrived. Very fresh and nice..... when doing a walk through to make sure kids didn't forget anything, found a tub of linens in one of the closets. So, basically, I just threw away $110. Would of given 5 stars if not for that disappointing find.

If you would have call us ,we could have had an appliance person come out and look at the stove/oven to see why it was getting to hot. Also you do get a Arrival letter, there is a attachment that you have to open and it does tell you to bring toilet paper and other things but Am sorry that you did not get it in time for your trip.
