Surrounded by its own private lawn garden, it offers a patio with awning and garden furniture to enjoy. In fact, the garden offers its own fruits and veg throughout the seasons, including asparagus, plums and a green house plentiful with grape vines.
Venture out and you will find lots of good places to eat, drink and shop within easy drive of the vibrant market town of Dereham. Here you will also find the historical mid-Norfolk Railway, which runs heritage steam and diesel train services to the sought-after town of Wymondham. You will be delighted by the great road links, something of a rarity in Norfolk, an ideal location to explore the amazing North Norfolk coastline with its sandy beaches, RSPB nature and bird reserves, the National Park Norfolk Broads and city of Norwich.
The medieval Norwich in around half an hour, has the Norman Castle, which sits majestically above the city and is considered the best example of its kind in the UK. There are also an abundance of museums, galleries and theatres here too along with some amazing places to eat and drink, from chain restaurants to truly boutique eateries. Shopaholics will find all the high street giants within the two malls and bustling shopping streets but those seeking a more unique experience will simply love the award winning year-round open-air market and the quaint artisan Lanes.
For something more peaceful, you can be in the heart of the Broads in around 40 minutes. Hire a day launch or join a tour and drift along these famous waterways with your phone at the ready to take some fantastic snaps. You can also be at the stunning Norfolk coastline in a similar time. Visit Wells-next-the Sea, with its beautiful quay; Cromer with its famous pier; or even stroll along the Golden Mile and take in all the fun of the fair in Great Yarmouth. Stunning Thetford Forest has High Lodge, Go Ape and lots of great walks and cycle rides. In fact, your great choice of location makes exploring Norfolk easily accessible.
