The property is ideally situated within a short walk of the picturesque area of Wick, known for its scenic riverside walks, and the charming Tuckton village. Additionally, the historic town of Christchurch is just a short stroll away, boasting a range of excellent restaurants, bars, and independent shops. This property offers everything needed for a relaxing holiday in a tranquil riverside location, whilst also being just a short drive from the beautiful local sandy beaches.

THE ACCOMMODATION:
On the ground floor of this holiday home, you will find two bedrooms. The first is a double bedroom with a King Size bed which features patio doors leading to the garden. The second bedroom is a twin room with bunk beds. The first floor of the house features another twin room. The second floor is dedicated to the master bedroom, boasting a King Size bed and views over Christchurch. The master Bedroom also benefits from an ensuite bathroom which includes a bath, a shower facility and a toilet.

The tastefully furnished, open plan lounge and dining area is situated on the first floor, with a FLATSCREEN SMART TV and FREE WIFI (subject to availability from Internet service Provider). The lounge also features patio doors which open onto the decked balcony.

The modern kitchen area is equipped with a RANGE MASTER COOKER - DISHWASHER - FRIDGE/FREEZER - MICROWAVE. Located on the ground floor, the property features a separate utility room which includes a WASHING MACHINE and TUMBLE DRYER.

On the ground floor you will find a contemporary shower room with a double shower cubicle and a toilet.

The property boasts a lovely garden with two patio areas, complete with a table and chairs for enjoying alfresco dining, which surround a grassed area with artificial grass.

This property comes with off road parking in the drive for two cars.

THE LOCAL AREA:
Located just a short walk from the house, Tuckton offers a range of restaurants, takeaways, and convenience stores. For those looking to dine with a view, the Riverside Restaurant is a lovely option, offering stunning views over the River Stour. The nearby Wick Village, situated on the southern bank of the River Stour, offers a variety of attractions, including crazy golf, a play park, a tea room, and a ferry that leads down to Christchurch Quay and Mudeford Beach. From Christchurch Quay, you can access riverside walks, a park, a cafe, the Boathouse Restaurant, a bandstand, another play area, and an exciting water play park and paddling pool. During the summer months (weather permitting), you can take the Vintage Ferry which runs regularly to Wick, Mudeford Sandbank and Hengistbury Head. Hengistbury Head, a great place for the whole family, is within walking or driving distance from the house, and the land train offers easy access to Mudeford Sand spit where you can enjoy the view with a cup of tea and a slice of cake, or something more substantial in the beach cafe. Also a short walk from the house is the historic town of Christchurch which is a vibrant hub located in the heart of Christchurch. The town centre is well known for its bustling high street, which features a range of independent shops, cafes, restaurants, and pubs. Visitors can also explore the historic landmarks in the town centre, such as Christchurch Priory, a magnificent church that dates back to the 11th century, and the Red House Museum and Gardens, a beautiful Georgian building that features a collection of local artifacts and exhibits. Southbourne beach is a short drive away, where you can enjoy miles of sandy beaches. The house is also conveniently located near Boscombe and Bournemouth beaches and their centres with a wide range of high street stores, restaurants, and bars.
