The Space.
The house has been beautifully refurbished to a high standard so everything is brand new. It has a light, airy and modern design and has been thoughtfully arranged for your comfort and relaxation.

It has 3 bedrooms, each with luxury foam mattresses, desk space, 400 Egyptian thread count fluffy towels, toiletries.

The open plan living and kitchen space allow the sunlight to bounce around it, French connection sofas provide the utmost comfort of an evening. Cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen with island space to chat. Open the terrace, a complete sun trap to relax and cook up a BBQ.

The house is set over one floor making this completely accessible to those with additional needs or who need wheelchair access.

The hallways have wooden floors and the bedrooms have carpets for that cozy feel.

Each bedroom has a desk space perfect for those needing to work or for quiet reflection. Everything is new and truly wonderful to offer you a wonderful break in the forest.

This property can very comfortably sleep up to 7 with a rollaway bed added into the master for the 7th Guest.

A nicely appointed property with some let downs

Pros Very convenient for many beach and New Forest locations. Very quiet. Good sized kitchen. Clean bedrooms and bathrooms. Not overlooked. Two shops and petrol station nearby. Cons We were disappointed to discover the property was located in a residential street. It is not a holiday setting. Properties were packed in and second car parking had to be wherever we could find any on the road which was narrow with bends and had several parked cars already. One shower room was cold with no heating. The freezer was not defrosted and we couldn't open its drawers. The kitchen window did not shut. The tv signal was intermittent in the evening, especially itv and lesser channels. There are no proper instructions handy for any appliances.

Relaxing Holiday

We had a wonderful 4 night break at Firtree Cottage. The cottage is in a lovely quiet residential area, a short drive to a large supermarket and a short walk to a Co-op as well. The cottage is stunning, very nicely decorated with everything you need to have a comfortable & relaxing stay. We enjoyed going for a evening walks around the area, the New Forest is a stone throw away as well as Lymington & Christchurch which we enjoyed visiting while we were staying at Firtree. There are plenty of lovely country pubs, tea rooms, and some farm shops to pick up delicious local produce. We would highly recommend and look forward to returning.

Lovely bungalow in New Forest

We had a nice stay in the property. Lots of room for our family of 4 and useful to have additional bathrooms. Property is well decorated with a nice open plan kitchen and family area with lots of natural light flooding in. Lovely garden too. Hordle is fine but we would have preferred to be closer to some restaurants and shops. Otherwise a lovely stay.

A Wonderful Break in a Super Bungalow

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the holiday bungalow with our daughters and grandchildren. A lovely safe garden for young children to play in too. We would definitely recommend it and return for another holiday. Thank you !
