Lovely to have a welcome pack waiting . Comfortable house in quiet area. Would recommend. One thing which I'd recommend is some outside lighting in front of the house and by the steps as very dark when parking at night.

We really appreciate your helpful suggestion about the outside lighting. There is a light by the front door but we’ll certainly look into improving the lighting by the steps.
Lovely cottage, very comfortable. Really well equipped and clean. We stayed in November but am sure garden would be lovely in spring/summer. Didn't take pet but is dog friendly with enclosed back garden. Owner was easy to contact, very helpful would definitely come back.
We found this cottage to be in a good location for exploring the New Forest and Milford on sea. Check in and communication very good. Enjoyed a comfortable stay. Pub just down road, good for a drink but wouldn’t recommend eating there.
Lovely break to celebrate a significant birthday. April Cottage was immaculately presented, warm, comfy and very well situated to access both the coast and forest.
Great cottage, very clean and welcoming . Quality linens and the best stocked kitchen we’ve ever had!!
Nice enclosed garden perfect for our elderly dog. Thank you Nicky- just what we wanted!
We really enjoyed our stay at April Cottage, it is homely and cosy in a great location to explore the New Forest and the South Coast. The cottage was lovely and big enough for a family of four (including 2 older teenage boys). The bedrooms, bathroom and downstairs loo are spacious. The lounge and dining area provide a lovely space to eat, play games and watch tv together. The kitchen is compact but has everything you need. There is a spacious conservatory leading onto a lovely walled garden at the back. Good parking at the front of the house. In the village there is a local shop only a few minutes walk away, and in the other direction the local pub is only 5 minutes away. The pub is welcoming and seems popular with the locals and the food and service is good. Only a short drive to the lovely Lymington and Milford on Sea. Brockenhurst is only a 15 minute drive away and is also worth a visit and a good place to explore the New Forest on foot or bike. Nicky was very helpful and responded quickly to questions. There was also a small hamper with biscuits, bread, coffee and tea, with milk in the fridge when we arrived, which was thoughtful and welcoming. Overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend.
A fine house, although we would not have named it a cottage.
It lays nice central for the sea and New Forest, and we had a nice time there.

It was a pleasure to have Christopher and Ashleigh to stay in our cottage, great to communicate with and they left the cottage lovely and clean on departure. Welcome back anytime .... Nicky
The cottage was very clean and well equipped, especially the kitchen. Very quiet location. Very Close to a village pub and a local shop. Easy to reach Mudeford beach and the heart of the new forest. Lymington is great place to browse around many different shops.
Beautifully presented house and nice little touches by the owner, milk biscuits dishwasher tablets etc. very good local shop 100 meters away. Would have no problem recommending this property

Why they chose this property
We fell in love with the New Forest when we used to bring the children here for beach and forest holidays. We moved here 18 years ago and live just around the corner in Everton. We love the lifestyle being near the coast and New Forest - we enjoy sailing and all things boats as well as long walks with our dogs on the forest.
What makes this property unique
We bought April Cottage in 2016 and spent the early part of 2017 renovating the cottage. Everton is an extremely friendly village with lovely local facilities. We loved this cottage because of its beautiful rooms and private walled garden to the rear that leads out on to a lovely lane with a short walk to the local pub for a lunch or evening meal. The village is incredibly well positioned for access to both the coast and forest.
