Spacious clean property perfect for a friends reunion close to the beach

We were so pleased to have found this property for our ladies gathering! As 5 adults in our 40s we had more than enough space, each with our own bedroom or sofa bed area. Ideally located for beach walks, shopping in Bournemouth, and pub lunch in Poole. We took 3 cars which all fitted in the side drive. We had no disruptions or problems and would definitely return in future and recommend it to others.

Super House - even nicer in real life than tje photo's make it look!

Had a lovely stay at this property for a (very chilled) Hen do. The house was lovely and so much bigger than the pictures make it look. Communication with the host was good throughout and the location was spot on for Bournemouth centre (we managed to walk it once or twice but taxis are also easy and cheap too) and the beach (although the hill to get back up was steep! My only criticism would be that the kitchen was ever so slightly understocked - not enough cooking equipment or utensils for the amount of guests, so if you're looking to cook rather than eat out it may be wise to bring a few bits of your own. All in all very happy - a pleasant stay, would definitely stay again 😊

This house was a great space within a 10 minute walk to the beach. The rooms were spacious and clean. It worked well for our mixed group. The host was extremely quick to respond to any queries and checking in was easy and convenient. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that the house is let down by some easily fixed maintenance issues which we feel shoud have been spotted and resolved before we arrived. The kitchen table had numerous big holes in it. It was very tatty and not pleasant to sit and eat at. Despite being a house for 10 people, there were only 5 wine glasses. In the lounge, of 13 light bulbs, only 5 worked. We reported these issues to the host and requested a tablecloth, wine glasses and replacement bulbs. We did receive extra glasses the next day, but the bulbs and tablecloth never materialised. There was a general feeling that the house just was not well looked after, lots of chips in the walls, a fridge door not really closing properly and taped together, and shower fitings wobbly. So overall, a great space in a great location but maintenance needs some attention.

Dirty and Poor Communication

We had high hopes for this property, but unfortunately our stay was marked by several issues. Upon arrival, we were met with a strong, unpleasant odor, and it quickly became clear the home had not been properly cleaned—there were crumbs on the counters, hair in the shower, dusty sinks, a dead spider in the bed, and dirty cookware that had to be rewashed before use.Additional concerns included towels with holes, inconsistent hot water in the shower, and a kitchen that was poorly equipped for cooking, missing basic essentials like baking trays and serving dishes. We had planned to prepare meals at the house, but found it difficult given the limited supplies. Most concerning, my father cut his foot on a sharp floor divider where exposed nails were starting to show through.We shared this feedback with the property manager during our stay and requested a refund of the cleaning fee. While they initially said they would look into it, we never received a response—despite multiple follow-ups.I truly wanted to love this place. The photos are beautiful and the potential is there, but the home needs more attention, better maintenance, and a deep cleaning to meet the expectations set by the listing.
