Ideal for adults or families with older children
Well equipped and beautifully decorated with good quality bed linen and towels.
Our King size bed wasa 2 beds pushed together so can be a bit uncomfortable! Not sure if all beds are.
Not suitable for smaller children in my opinion as there are no flat grassed areas to play and all but 1 bedroom is on the second floor and stairs are steep with open wood.tread.
Lovely area for walking being on the doorstep of the pennine trail.

Lovely cottage and a great stay
We stayed at Weavers Cottage at the beginning of May for a family gathering with 6 of us. The cottage is very spacious, well maintained and equipped, clean and comfortable. Having two separate seating and TV areas was useful and both the hot tub and games room were very well used. The location is secluded but only a short walk away from Thurlstone and a 5 minute drive into Penistone and local stores. The Trans Pennine Trail runs behind the cottage and was excellent for walks. We were spoilt for choice in eating out and enjoyed Thai food at the Huntsman, pies at the George in Upper Denby and a roast lunch at the Waggon and Horses in Oxspring as well as using the bbq at the cottage. We really enjoyed the break at Weavers Cottage and would recommend it as a place to stay.

2nd Stay at Weavers Cottage
2nd time we have stayed in this cottage with a group of friends over a 6 year period. It is an ideal location for walking and hiking. The cottage itself is absolutely beautiful and just as good the 2nd time round. It is spacious, homely, clean with a feeling of luxury and most of all the owners are on hand if needed for the smallest enquiry.

Excellent week’s stay for a party of six.
Accommodation needed during own house renovation locally. Weaver’s provided ample room and facilities with a bonus in the table tennis table. Clean and well presented, cosy and warm during a cold week. Comfortable bedding. Friendly booking.
My improvements would include: a welcome pack of produce to promote local business, or own baking
salt and pepper
plants or flowers
toiletries in bathrooms
up-to-date information in folders.
With over 100 UK self-catering stays taken myself I think that these additions make the customer feel welcomed and ready to holiday from first arriving and that shopping can wait until tomorrow.
Thank you for letting us stay and we hope that your business flourishes.

Wonderful stay
A beautiful house in a lovely location. Very comfortable and homely with a gorgeous hot tub. All bedrooms and bathrooms clean and very luxurious and comfortable. If you like it warm, then this is the place for you. The 4 stars rather than 5 are given because it was a little too warm for sleeping (who ever complains about this ) and Shower gel in the bathrooms would also have been a bonus. We have had a wonderful stay and we highly recommend a stay here.
