A dedicated tap/faucet in the kitchen provides pure filtered drinking water, eliminating the need for guests to purchase separate bottled water. Additionally, the refrigerator is equipped with a connected filtered water source, offering chilled filtered water and pure filtered ice cubes.
The open space design features a dining table, a cozy fireplace, and a comfortable lounge area, perfect for relaxing evenings.

The house offers two bathrooms for your convenience, as well as a clothes washing machine to cater to your laundry needs.

The three bedrooms are tastefully decorated and offer direct access to the garden through their doors. Each bedroom is equipped with air conditioning to ensure a comfortable night's sleep.

Guests staying at our short-term rental house in Fres, Chania, Crete will have exclusive access to the entire property during their stay. This includes the spacious indoor living areas, the private outdoor areas, and all the provided amenities.

Power sockets in the house are the standard “type f” two-pin EU plugs, there are some (3 maybe) UK to EU plug convertors in the house that you can use.

There is a dedicated tap/faucet in the kitchen for purified/filtered drinking water, please only use this tap for water/tea and coffee

The house has basic provisions such as; plates, cups, glasses, wine glasses, knives and folks, pots and pans, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, hair dryer, vacuum cleaner, shower gel, shampoo, handwash, dishwasher liquid, dishwasher machine and tablets, washing machine and washing powder etc.

The house will have clean sheets and towels available in each room

For a slightly longer drive of 22 minutes, you can reach Almyrida Beach, renowned for its pristine shores and beachside restaurants and bars.

While Kalyves and Almyrida offer fantastic beach experiences, don't miss the opportunity to visit the best beaches in Crete—Balos and Elafonisi. These breathtaking beaches are approximately a 2-hour drive away, or you can conveniently book day trips from Kalyves or Almyrida.

When it comes to dining, Fres village has two outstanding restaurants within a 5-minute walk from our house. Ta Lemonadika Mezedopoleio and O Kouvaros serve mouthwatering local cuisine.

In case of any medical emergencies, the Gavrilaki General Clinic Iasis in Chania is highly recommended. Kalyves also provides a medical care center, open from 9 am to 8 pm, offering same-day appointments and house call services for less serious issues.
