St Cecelia was an AMAZING and UNIQUE property that felt magical and peaceful! The hosts, Brett and Lara, were extremely responsive and accommodating. The bedding and mattress were perfect. Such a warm and cozy house, with great location. The house is actually a work of art restored with such incredible detail. We traveled up the coast of Maine prior to reaching St Cecelia and stayed in many very nice properties but this was the one I couldn’t wait to see and it met every expectation AND MORE! We can’t recommend this place enough… very magical. The Lyon Gang

Oof. Where do I even begin? My husband and I have stayed at a myriad of unique, novel, and incredible places in our travels, but this shot up to our top five. No matter how amazing the pictures look, there is no way to prepare your mind for being blown when you step through those antique sanctuary doors. Staying in this place was an adventure in and of itself. We had plans while in the area, but found ourselves wanting to stay inside above all else. In fact, we loved it so much, we impulsively chose to extend our trip one more night.Staying at St. Cecilia's by the Sea is like walking around a movie set piece, only the cameras are off and you have all the time in the world to just melt into the gorgeous ornate furniture and bask in the exquisite decor. We were there for three days, and there was always something new to discover up until we left. It was the perfect blend of comfort and escapism. The hosts were extremely kind, super interesting, incredibly friendly and accommodating. This place is more than worth it, so stop wasting your time and just click "book" already.
