The name, inspired by the 'Harmony' context, is the combination of the contemporary environment that blends architectural hints of the island, characteristically: stone and vaulted ceilings. The design of this apartment goes beyond the definition of beautiful and welcoming, distinguished by fine finishes and furnishings, purely Made in Italy. The soft lights and warm colors make the ambience comfortable as well as one of a kind. The house is located on the first floor of an old building in a pedestrian street in the historic center. The area, in addition to offering an outdoor market every morning, offers a wide choice of restaurants, bars, artisan ice cream parlors and much more. With an area of about 90 square meters, the apartment has a kitchen, living room and 2 bedrooms respectively with ensuite bathrooms. The large living room has a balcony with sea view and is furnished with a velvet sofa, a fine marble coffee table, a 75'' TV and an artisan wooden bookcase. The bespoke kitchen offers a marble countertop, a 4-burner range, a marble table and 4 chairs. In addition, the kitchen is equipped with all appliances: oven, refrigerator with freezer, coffee machine, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, etc.. The master bedroom offers a balcony with a sea view, an ensuite bathroom with a shower, furnished with a double bed, a double walk-in closet and TV. The second bedroom offers an ensuite bathroom with a shower, double bed, large wardrobe, writing desk and TV.

A Perfect Place to Stay in Ortigia

Loved everything about this apartment. It was directly above the market (can be busy/nosy in the mornings, but it lent to the charm and didn't bother us in the least). You don't have to go far for great food. The Borderi Brothers sandwich shop it to die for and the street food (arancini and fruits) are amazing. Sergio made the check-in process smooth and he even helped carry our luggage up the the apartment. We highly recommend and will definitely return ourselves.

We had mixed feelings about this stay. First, the apartment is decorated really nice. It has a very comfortable couch and large TV. It is also spacious with two bedrooms. When we arrived our host greeted us and gave us a tour of the apartment and even provided restaurant/grocery store recommendations. However, we noticed some of the dishes were not cleaned very well and the Nespresso machine was broken (was able to make it work with manual manipulation, but not working as it should). Keep in mind the busyness of the market is right outside the window. The beds were too firm for us, but I know this is subjective. While the apartment cannot change the vibrancy of the city, we came in January and at nights this area of town was desolate. There was little to no activity nearby in the evening.

We are happy to read that you enjoyed the **decoration**, the comfortable sofa and TV, the space of the apartment and the welcome on arrival with the tour and local recommendations, and we truly appreciate you highlighting these positive aspects. We are very sorry instead for the issues you mention regarding some dishes not perfectly cleaned and the Nespresso machine not working properly; this is below our usual standards and we have already passed this on to our housekeeping and maintenance teams so that it does not happen again. If we had known during your stay, we would have been glad to come by, recheck the kitchen equipment and replace the coffee machine immediately. As for the noise, the apartment is located right by the historic market area, which is very lively and can be busy and a bit noisy during the day, especially in the mornings; on the other hand, as you noticed in January, evenings can feel much quieter and at times a bit desolate compared to the summer months, when restaurants and bars are more active. The firmness of the mattresses is indeed very subjective, but we will keep your comment in mind when we next review the bedding. We thank you again for sharing both the positive and critical points: this kind of feedback helps us improve and also allows future guests to better understand if the apartment and the neighborhood atmosphere are the right match for their expectations.
