Escape and relax here at Ingleside Cottage in sleepy Glaisdale on the North Yorkshire Moors.
Whether your enjoying the sun on the patio or cosying up in front of the real open fire on a winters night.
Ingleside Cottage has been sympathetically restored adding underfloor heating and triple glazing, so you can clearly watch the snow fall on the moors in your warm and snug country cottage.

Outside we have a small garden to the front with seating for 3 which really is a sun trap in the mornings.

To the rear of Ingleside Cottage is the patio with dining table and seats where during the summer you get all day Sun, when it's shining that is!!

The cosy living room has the real fire and leather sofas plus large smart TV with Amazon Prime and fast wifi.

There is a dining table to seat four.

The rear of Ingleside has a modern kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher and Air fryer and Coffee machine etc

The new extension again has leather seating and large smart TV with large sliding doors that allow stunning views over the Moors and also North Yorkshire Dark skies, for a bit of star gazing.

Next to us is a field which usually accommodates, sheep, lambs, chickens, ducks, geese, miniature goats and a few wild rabbits...

Having lived in Yorkshire for over 50 years, we feel so fortunate to be in such a beautiful part of what is known as 'God's own Country '. The walks and the surrounding area is just stunning with the views amazing on cloudy or hot sunny days.

Why they chose this property

Having lived in nearby Pickering as a youngster, I have always had a yearning to get back to this beautiful part of the world. This is why we are sharing our cosy cottage here on the beautiful relaxing North Yorkshire Moors for certain weeks of the year.

What makes this property unique

Firstly it has to be the views that the cottage is afforded been on the edge of the village of Glaisdale. Looking over the Moors and seeing the large skies, watching the way they constantly can change is quite magical. We are so very lucky that our neighbours keep a menagerie of animals/birds which are often just feet from the cottage and its raised patio, which is on tge same level as the cottage.
