And as you take in the breathtaking beauty of the Vallo di Diano, you’ll find the Certosa di Padula, a former monastery and UNESCO World Heritage Site.The Amalfi Coast (or Costa d’Amalfi) is a stretch of the Tyrrhenian coastline in the province of Salerno in Campania. Located east of the Sorrento Peninsula, it overlooks the Gulf of Salerno and stretches from Positano (bordering the metropolitan city of Naples) to Vietri sul Mare (bordering Salerno).
