About this property
Sherborne House is a beautiful Grade II listed Georgian terraced house
Sherborne House sits proudly on the historic High Street of Chipping Campden and is a Grade II listed Georgian property that dates back to the 17th century - Sherborne House is located opposite Greville House, which is the oldest house in Chipping Campden and boasts easy access to all that Chipping Campden has to offer.
This beautiful property provides generous accommodation for four guests; the large kitchen, with exposed beams, provides ample space to prepare a delicious meal for everyone, and is well-equipped for even the keenest of chefs. Sherborne House boasts two sitting rooms, with the ground floor sitting room also being home to the dining area, making it the perfect room to enjoy a home-cooked meal together and then retreat to the sumptuous sofas for your night cap of choice, whilst you watch the world go by through the stunning stone bay windows.
Upstairs, the second sitting room offers a tranquil place to enjoy a morning coffee and enjoy watching the world go by from the window seat, or to sit back and relax with your favourite book or box set after a day spent exploring all that the Cotswolds has to offer. The second sitting room also has a desk area, which is perfect for catching up with the world. The first bedroom, with a king-size bed, also resides on the first floor. Enjoying the same view of the High Street from another beautiful bay window, the first bedroom is served by a stylish shower room with a spacious walk-in shower. The second floor is home to the remaining bedroom, which has a double-bed and is nestled in the eaves of the property. There is also a second bathroom, with a hand-held shower attachment.
Outside, the pretty courtyard is a lovely spot to enjoy the sunshine whilst you relax on the garden furniture. A few steps up leads you to the parking area, which is ideally sized for one large car, or two small cars. Wander around the corner and you will be welcomed by the stretch of historic Chipping Campden High Street, with its honey stone buildings, historic Market Hall, pretty tea shops, pubs, restaurants and independent shops.
Sherborne House is easily accessible from London with a two hour drive or a ninety minute train journey from Paddington to Moreton-in-Marsh, you can escape to the countryside and witness the marvels of the nearby Bourton-on-the-Water or take a stroll around Stow-on-the-Wold, to name just a few.
Sherborne House is ideally situated to explore all that Chipping Campden and the Cotswolds has to offer, making it the perfect home away from home to escape the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life.
