THIS PLACE IS DAMGEROUS. BE VERY CAREFUL.We arrived a few hours early, in a hire car, so we asked if we could have access to the car park. The area is rough to say the least, so we didn't really want to leave our cases on show in the car. The answer was a flat, 'No', not until 4pm. If we had been given permission, we would have found out that the remote control to the Car Park barrier didn't work. After waiting for three hours, we then found the remote was faulty. We eventually found a disgruntled young lady, who reluctantly opened the barrier for us.On entering the Apartment, I was immediately shocked to discover that all of the electric items in the apartment were fitted with Euro type plugs, which had been forced into UK Type G sockets. As a retired Electrician I can tell you that this is so dangerous and almost certainly illegal. It's not a case of if there's going to be a fire, it's when. On top of that, as they're broken the Earth restrictor on the sockets, babies and toddlers could put their little fingers in the socket holes. As the plugs didn't fit correctly, the live terminals were exposed. Both of these will inevitably lead to an electric shock and possible death. They're risking customer's lives, just to save a few euros. They didn't fix the barrier, so we couldn't use the car for 2 days. The kettle didn't work and the wouldn't replace it, so we had to buy one. There was only one quilt for two beds. Dirty washing from a previous occupant was found in cupboard.

Dear Paul, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are very sorry to read about your experience and the concerns you have raised. Please be assured that guest safety is of utmost importance to us. The apartment’s electrical installations comply with local regulations. That said, we take your feedback seriously and have asked our technical team to re-inspect the apartment to ensure everything is fully secure and functioning as intended. We also apologize for the inconvenience caused by the parking barrier remote and the other issues you mention. This is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide, and your comments have been shared internally for immediate follow-up. We hope to welcome you again in the future. Tobias. Sanders.
