About this property
Breathtaking Salt Marsh Views & Sunsets & Kayaking with Dolphins
Are you looking for a special place where you truly feel like you've found a little slice of paradise? This recently renovated one bedroom Bay Pointe villa boasts a million dollar view of tranquil salt marshes, waterways and the shrimp boats located in historic Rockville.
Bay Pointe Villas is one of the few villa communities on Seabrook Island with its own private dock to launch kayaks, go crabbing or sip a cool drink in the evening. There's also a peaceful swimming pool and grilling area just steps from the villa - a great place to enjoy a good book, take refreshing dip or throw some steaks on the grill. The villa is ideal for a couple longing for a memorable experience on one of South Carolina's most unique and exclusive islands.
The Bay Pointe Villa community is nestled on a small gated peninsula near the entrance to Seabrook Island, this quiet location is ideal for easy access to all the island and the area has to offer. You're within biking/walking distance of the Lake House Community Center with its state-of-the-art fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools, playground, basketball hoops and picnic area. Be sure to check the Calendar of Events for additional activities and fitness classes.
Also within biking distance of the villa is Freshfields Village. This quaint area offers world class shopping, a wide array of delicious dining options, an amazing wine & craft beer bar, and a Harris Teeter grocery store complete with organic produce and gourmet foods. Freshfields also offers various activities throughout the year such as free outdoor concerts, outdoor movies, a weekly Farmers' Market, craft fairs and more.
Bohicket Marina Village is also just a 1/2 mile from the villa. The marina is a major hub of activity where you'll find boat, jet ski and kayak rentals, fishing charters, live music and events along with many shops and popular restaurants.
Seabrook Island is known for its dedication to preserving the wildlife that, along with island residents, call Seabrook home. Birds, deer, turtles, alligators, bobcats and dolphins and more have maintained their natural habitats within the island's maritime forest, beaches, waterways and inlets for hundreds of years. One of the most popular species among wildlife residents are the Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins. Seabrook and Kiawah Islands are one of the few places in the world where you may witness a unique feeding ritual known as "strand feeding". This practice involves groups of dolphins herding a school of fish onto a sandbar or beach. Next, the dolphins literally launch their bodies, which could weigh up to 500 lbs, out of the water and onto the sandbar or shore to feed. This can be seen year round as, unlike other species of dolphins, these dolphins don't migrate to other regions. They live here year round and have adopted this sort of behavior instead of venturing out further into the ocean to hunt. Be sure to visit North Beach where you’re likely to see dolphins strand feed. It's an amazing thing to witness!
Seabrook Island has three and a half miles of gorgeous white sandy beach for you to explore or to pick the perfect spot for you to relax in your beach chair. However, if your trip to the Low Country includes a trip to visit Charleston, you’re just 30 minutes from downtown. The ‘Holy City’ is rich in history, architecture, culture and incredible five star dining and Low Country cuisine.
Paradise Awaits!
