You will really lovvvvvve our unique Treehouse-style vacation home! Nestled among a canopy of trees up on a small hilltop! Charming elevated free-standing Villa overlooks the 18th fairway/ Lagoon of the Crooked Oaks Golf Course. 14 FULL length floor-to-ceiling windows! Natural light! WOW... scenic views in all directions! TWO decks - top deck at the 2nd floor Villa entry or... relax on the covered lower deck... evening accent lighting... under cover out of the weather! A short 10 minute walk to our beautiful beaches AND the **Ocean Front Beach Club... pools... outside bar - restaurants - gift shop! Spacious & cozy with "open" vaulted ceilings & exposed beams. Awesome newer kitchen with GREAT space - & raised bar counter top! Two nice size bedrms (King & twin beds) & two full bathrooms. We even have four adult bicycles plus some beach chairs for you to use! Washer & dryer in the Villa! This place was a perfect little getaway! The owners made sure to communicate with everything. This is a definite go back location for us. The beaches were also very quiet. Overall this was by far the best experience in the Charleston area I have had!

Ohhh what a beautiful place! The villa had all we could ever need and more. Such a lovely, quiet, peaceful setting, exactly as promised - plenty of bikes and beach chairs - even a diverse selection of perfect beach reads for all tastes. Nancy and Doug’s love for this property truly shows, and they seem so excited to share their piece of Paradise. We felt so at home. The only problem, of course, is that it had to end.Thank you so much for all of your recommendations and advice. We can’t wait to come back!

First of all, it being a treehouse was the eye catcher for me, but the biggest flex that this rental property has is that it has bikes for use!! HUGE FAN!! The bicycle ride to the closest beach access was maybe three minutes. And the next one was just a couple minutes past that which was a bigger beach option.Doug and Nancy were very accommodating and great host! I would definitely rebook again

The place was terrific and comfortable. The hosts were very cordial before and during our stay. Two items concerned me though:1. Found at least two roaches in the kitchen and the back bedroom. Had to rewash everything when we arrived home.2. The upper deck was very worn and not safe to walk barefoot on.

There ARE insects in any tropical, wooded, setting which is why we have regular professional treatments to keep insects OUTside. But, Jeffrey, remember we had to call you several times to ask you to CLOSE the front door (when AC was erratic).... so what did you expect on the possibility of insects entering when you were leaving the front door WIDE OPEN? And, sorry....that our deck was not suitable for your feet. Thanks again for coming. ~ doug & nancy

Property was as described and host was very helpful and responsive. Beautiful beach and most of the beach accesses had beautiful walkways leading through the dunes to the beaches. The accesses further away from the property were not far and easy to get to via car and parking was not difficult. I would pass on the amenity card since the pool was packed unless you have young children.

Our rental hosts, Doug and Nancy were great communicators and gave us a seamless check-in, check out process. The treehouse was perfect for our family of four, beds were comfortable, home was clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. There were family games, and a super fun beach themed decor in the home. We enjoyed using the bikes to get around the island. Very easy to ride to the beach and pool. Walking to the beach was also easy. We saw lots of wildlife from our own deck.

This really was the perfect little place for my husband and I to stay for our quick getaway. Our daughter who was interning on the island stayed with us and we all agreed it truly felt like we were staying in a treehouse. Reminded us of our camping days of the past. So peaceful out on the deck. Enjoyed riding the bikes that were provided to the beach. Only wished we would have discovered the downstairs patio under the deck sooner than our last morning as it was about 10 degrees cooler than up on the deck. And for this girl from New England who likes to golf it was a great spot to watch the golfers, because there was no way I could have golfed in that heat. Had everything we needed, was clean and host communication was great. Would love to go back sometime in the spring when it’s not quite so hot and we have a little more time to explore. Would definitely book again!

My daughter & I enjoyed everything about our stay here! The home was clean & comfortable & had everything that we needed. The location is great with restaurants & grocery nearby & the hosts, Doug & Nancy, were so kind & helpful. It felt like we were with family while we were there. We will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed this “treehouse” it was tough finding it in the dark as there are virtually no lights in the neighborhood. It would be helpful for people to know that since this treehouse community is directly ON a gold course, the massive leaf blowers start up very early in the morning. Overall it was clean and comfortable.

From Ohio …... we have vacationed along the Southeast Atlantic coast since our kids were young and have always liked the climate, activities, and beaches! For both of us, and our now grown kids - it is exciting to have a "treehouse" Villa and to share the experience with you! Our photo was taken downtown Charleston as Docents (volunteers) for the Charleston Historical Home & Garden Tour!

Why they chose this property

Yes.... it is hard to imagine vacationing in a treehouse, isn't it? Well, this is sort of a treehouse...... an elevated Villa. The entire concept seems so fun.... like out of a movie! ( what movie was that??) This is what caught our attention... and now we can share the adventure and fun with our family of Vacationers who would like to "try out" this Villa/treehouse. AND... what better place than at a beach setting! A bit of history - the same Villa/ treehouses were built at Disneyland in the 1970s' for renters to enjoy!

What makes this Villa unique?
The private well-manicured Seabrook Island Resort is beautiful and it never feels crowded. Cruise around and enjoy the scenery.... whether walking or biking or driving! Seabrook Island is close to the historic city of Charleston. Stay your entire trip on the Island enjoying the many things to do or venture to nearby Charleston area for touring. Charleston is about 45 minutes away driving through areas where the oak trees create a canopy over the roads.... many are Spanish Moss covered!
Our Treehouse gives you a secluded feeling and it is a free-standing unit... so you are not sharing a wall with a neighbor. And.... this Villa is actually tucked in the trees between the 18th fairway and the 1st hole green! One of the most private, peaceful, and cozy Villas on the Island of Seabrook!
