About this property

Create FAMILY Memories at Michigan Dream'inn on All Sports Lake Jehnsen

We invite you and your family to relax and enjoy our spacious lake house, “Michigan Dream' inn,” on beautiful and quiet all-sports Jehnsen Lake. Located on a large, private lot, our home features 50 feet of direct lake frontage. The Lake House is 3000 Sq. Feet and hosts 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a 1/2 bath with a washer and dryer. An open floor plan offers a family of up to 10 plenty of space to enjoy each other’s company, yet has room to retreat for solitude or a good book!

The main level features an open floor plan, a fully stocked kitchen (remodeled in 2019) with dining table and chairs, plus bar seating. The large family room offers comfortable seating to enjoy the scenery out the big picture windows. Walk out onto the large private deck to breathe the fresh air and be dazzled by the spectacular views of the lake. The deck extends the entirety of the house and provides ample room to socialize, relax and have fun.

Accommodations on the main level are a Master Bedroom Suite with queen size bed, flat screen tv, and master bathroom with a shower and Jacuzzi tub. A second 1/2 bath with laundry is also available on the main floor.

The upper loft level offers another area to hang out w/ sky lights and a beautiful view of the lake. A pool table and foosball table giving our guests another area to hang out.

The lower level includes three bedrooms, full bathroom, recreation/family room, and bar: The Bunkroom has two sets of bunk beds to sleep four, the Seaside Room has a Queen and Twin, and the Mini Master Bedroom has a flat screen TV and queen size bed. There is a large full bath, with double vanity, tub and shower. The Family Room has a large flat screen TV w/ cable, a DVD player, DVD library, and a recliner couch to watch your favorite shows or movies. The bar area has a sink and mini refrigerator for your favorite beverages. For all ages an Arcade Game with 160 different games to play, Jame Bond Pinball, and a PacMan Table. There is a large table and chairs for eating or family fun playing one of the assorted family games and puzzles that are available. The lower level walks out to the back yard and has easy access to the lake.

Added for 2021 is the garage fun area to allow for another family area to play and spend time. It hosts an Air Hockey Table and Ping Pong Table for some competitive action and enjoyment. There is also storage for your coolers, suitcases, or other things you brought with for your stay and an additional refrigerator for your beverages or food.

Enjoy the picnic table and a fire ring with ample firewood to roast those marshmallows. Swim and fish off the dock area. We offer complimentary use of four kayaks, double Kayak and a canoe for your enjoyment on the lake. Concrete driveway for parking vehicles. And yes, we now have internet, it is sometimes spotty but we feel comfortable being able to our it to our guests, or if you wish to unplug we will with hold the password.

This is our third summer staying at the Michigan Dream’Inn and it was once again amazing. Tom and Julie really do think of everything and we get to just show up and relax. Everything is always clean, organized, and comfortable. The kids have a blast with the air hockey table and video games, and the kayaks are always a huge hit. The new fire pit is amazing! Thanks again for a wonderful getaway!

It's hard to believe that this was our 5th year at this beautiful home! As always, it was amazing. Tom and Julie continue to make great improvements (the new firepit is perfect!) and are the best hosts. This year the kids caught a lot of fish and we always enjoy all the wildlife we see. The perfect relaxing getaway with a ton of things to do!

A great lake house and welcoming hosts

We spent 5 days at the house on Jehnsen Lake. The weather wasn't the best and the fishing was just ok but the house was great. Plenty of things to entertain us while we waited for the wind to die down. Julie and Tom were great hosts and lake house had everything we needed.

Incredible experience from start to finish! Even before we arrived, Julie reached out and made sure we got all of the check-in information and gave us local recommendations. Then, upon arriving the house was even more than we could have imagined. From the small details inside of the house to the attention to detail and fun outside, we were never without something to do or some way to relax. Amazing stay!

This was our second time staying here and it was just as perfect as the first time! So well stocked - they think of literally everything! Beautiful giant deck to sit and read on, eat dinner, and look at the beautiful lake. So much fun fishing and using the kayaks. Great communication with the hosts. We purchased this property in 2017. We love the ability of getting away from it all and enjoying the quiet and beautiful views of the lake. The spacious cottage will give us an opportunity to entertain friends and family for many years to come. Since we are now retired, we have many adventures we want to have so we have decided we want to allow others the ability to enjoy our Michigan Dream'inn Lake House.

Why they chose this property

We've created a "get away" spot we would like to share with you which we hope will allow you to create your own family memories and traditions. Teach your kids to fish, enjoy the outdoors, and in the evenings retreat to the fire pit for a family campfire. Plenty of things to do inside in bad weather, from broad and arcade games, cards, movies, and/or reading that book you've been meaning to.

What makes this property unique

Easy access to a quiet all sports lake for fishing or boating, with a well designed DNR boat launch not far from the house if needed. Your Boat is welcome to dock at the Lake House. And plenty to do inside and out.
