Great base to explore Ischia

This house was a perfect home base from which to explore the island. Francesco was very helpful, even arranging for a taxi to take us from the port to the house. It’s an easy walk to Ischia Ponte (if you don’t mind a couple of hills!), which has great restaurants and shops, and of course, Castle Arogonese. Easy bus or taxi access to see the rest of Ischia. We loved our stay at il Lauro Villa and would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing Villa in Ischia

Our stay in Francesco's villa was fantastic. If your looking for a relaxing and quiet stay book this place. Great accommodations, very private. We only stayed one night, but we will be back and stay longer. The backyard was beautiful, quiet, with fruit trees, a place to lunge and a fantastic outdoor eating area. Kitchen needed some cups, plates and utensils, but the location was fantastic and made up for that. Otherwise the bedrooms and living areas opened to the outdoors and we found a great property to relax and enjoy Ischia.

Beautiful Home and lovely gardens

We loved staying here so much we went back at the end of our journey to do it again. The first time we were on bikes which was entirely accessible, the second time we were by car. You may want transportation to this house or it would not be convenient. Walking distance to grocery store and restaurants but not close. Beautiful gardens and outdoor kitchen grill, lovely for outdoor dining.
