Luxury penthouse apartment on exclusive Sugar Hill resort with beach club access

A stunning 1st floor penthouse apartment on the fabulous Sugar Hill resort. The apartment has 2 beautiful private terraces with panoramic sea views over the west coast. Sugar Bird is an end unit which allows extra privacy and seclusion with far reaching sea views from the private roof top terrace. The exclusive Sugar Hill estate offers two fabulous pools, one of which is a large infinity pool, a fully equipped gym, 4 floodlit tennis courts, 2 floodlit paddle courts, 24/7 security and The Deck restaurant and bar which is a few minutes walk from the apartment.
Our penthouse apartment is fully air conditioned and includes WiFi, 55” TV with fire stick. There is a fully equipped kitchen with everything you would need including an oven, fridge freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher, a washing machine and tumble dryer.
The penthouse apartment was recently fully refurbished to include new air conditioning units, new appliances and new kitchen and bathroom etc.
The large upper roof terrace which is accessed via a short flight of steps from the lower terrace, has quality sun loungers, a brand new sofa set along with a generous sized gas BBQ which allows yound to enjoy sunbathing here in complete privacy during the day and watch the sun go down with a glass of wine or two in the evenings and spot the green parrots heading to their night roost. If you are an early bird, you can see the green parrots come over in the morning.
The lower balcony is a generous size with table and chairs for alfresco dining along with a comfy sofa to finish the perfect day.
Our stunning penthouse apartment is in the perfect location to enjoy the delights of the West coast of Barbados.
For your convenience the House manager Alicia is on call.
The beach is around a 15 minutes walk or a few minutes drive. Alicia (the house Manager) can give you directions for a local short cut. You also have the added benefit of Fairmont Royal Pavilion beach club membership.
Holetown is Ideally situated at only a 5 minute drive and has an abundance of bars, restaurants, banks and shops including the Lime Grove designer shopping centre with restaurants such as The Tides, The Cliff, Lone Star, Sandy Lane all nearby. You also have Speightstown which is less than a 10 minute drive away and offers fabulous eateries and bars too.

We had the most amazing stay here - the apartment is beautiful, well equipped and has a super bathroom and the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in! The stunning roof terrace is a great place to watch the sunset - and the beach membership is a real bonus. Thanks for a fabulous stay - we’ll definitely be back!

Our stay at Sunbird (within the Sugar Hill Resort) was so lovely! We would definitely return! It is such a well decorated and well appointed apartment with really nice outdoor living spaces including the dining patio and rooftop patio which has beautiful views to the sea; and from which you can relax, sun bathe, enjoy the sunsets and the starry night sky. The apartment also has a view to the garden pool, and is just steps away from the main clubhouse where there is the central pool, fitness room and The Deck restaurant. It is also just steps to the tennis courts which are really nice! The apartment at Sugar Hill provides access to the Fairmont Royal Pavilion beach club which was great. The area on the beach for the beach chairs is a bit small though they do expand it on other side of the lifeguard house when it gets full, and there is a good bar/restaurant area right there with casual lounge sofas and eating tables. Bed was very comfortable, with only downside it being a Queen(we prefer King). Kitchen and bath have been updated and only comment is the kitchen appliances are a bit older, but once we figured out how to work them, were just fine. This apartment is a little piece of paradise and thank you to the hosts for allowing us to experience it. We had a wonderful stay!
