Tom and Betty moved from Florida to East Tennessee looking for a centralized place for a Retreat Center. Our hearts were with churches who wanted to take their youth, couples, families away to a quiet place for R&R and to minister to their groups. Our great location close to interstates and close to the fun activities just down the road from the ranch. We have enjoyed raising three sons here at the ranch and they have been such a big part of this family enterprise. Our youngest son, David, was killed on his motorcycle in 2013 but Daniel and Tim are still very much a part of keeping things going here at the ranch. Now we watch our grandchildren growing up here. What a blessing that is!
Betty purchased this Cabin in 1985
Why Betty chose Dandridge
This property caught our eye and our hearts because of the convenience for travelers no matter which direction they were coming from. I- 40 is just 2 miles, I-75 only about 20 and we are easily accessible for two thirds of the United States in only a day's drive. Our lake access adds possibilities for our guests as well as our fishing pond and natural beauty of the area.
What makes this Cabin unique
Our guests tell us that their favorite thing about Mountain Lake Ranch is that it is a quiet, peaceful place to come home to after a busy day enjoying the many possibilities that the area offers including Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains.

Cute little cabin
It was perfect for my family. We do experiences for Christmas and chose Pigeon Forge. This cabin had all the amenities we were looking for and very quiet! Would stay again in the future.
Cozy little cabin.
Met our needs well. A quiet spot to come back to after spending the day in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. Kitchen had necessary items to cook basic meals. TV channels were very limited. But they tell you that in the rental description. Would stay here again if we travel back to the region again.
Family vacation fall 2019
Perfect spot for my little family. Quiet property and not too far from everything we wanted to see. Full kitchen for anything we wanted to cook. Nice comfortable sleeping areas and very clean well kept little cabin. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to the area. Much nicer and affordable than any hotel we have stayed at in this area. Check in and out super easy. We had a wonderful time here.
Extremely clean! Great location for my needs. Easy to get to and easy to find. Very quiet place to stay
Red Top Cabin
Our stay was wonderful for our little family! It is a very quiet area and nice to come back to after a busy day in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed to cook in the cabin for our week there. We loved that it had a grill so we were able to cook out too! It is centrally located so we didn't have too far of a drive to all of the attractions we wanted to visit while there. Sabrina, the housekeeper was wonderful! Daniel was very prompt with answering any questions we had. Overall a wonderful experience and would not hesitate to book this cabin again!
It was nice to go back to the cabin where it was quiet after being out and about all day. Cute little cabin! We also enjoyed the lake not far from the cabin. We spent our first evening exploring the lake and it’s surroundings. Friendly staff!
Our small, quiet campground is located just 3 miles from Hiway 66 and I-40 and nearby is Smoky Mtn. Knifeworks on the way to Sevierville, 9 miles, then Pigeon Forge and on to Gatlinburg which is 20 miles from us. All the fun stuff is within 20 miles of us.
