Beautiful condo, Attentive host

Excellent vacation spot just outside Clemson, overlooking Lake Keowee. Very clean, secure, nicely appointed and well maintained. Host is quick to respond.

Great condo

Great location! Clean and updated! Cozy and comfortable. My only suggestion for owner would be to leave out more towels and wash cloths, or ask guests to bring their own. Other than that, we loved staying there!

Keowee Key has Everything!

Wonderful lake experience!

We loved our stay at this spacious condo with its picture-perfect lake view. A short walk to the salt water pool and beach meant we spent nearly every day in the water!

Beautiful Place

This house is in a beautiful country club community with lots of amenities. The only thing is that it is small for more than 5 people to sleep comfortably. The two beds and air mattress are very comfortable, but would not recommend sleeping on the sofa or futon. Also, we were missing sheets for the futon and air mattress. There were plenty of blankets but no fitted sheets or sheets. There were also not enough towels ( 4 total) to shower for more than 4 people. I'd recommend keeping at least 8 towels, but maybe even a few more if people stay for more than a couple of days so they don't have to keep doing laundry. We enjoyed our stay though and would recommend for any group of 4-5 people looking to enjoy Keowee Key!

Hi Albert. Thanks for the feedback. We have addressed the missing sheets and towel issue. There should always be extra bedding and towels in both of the closets.

Travelers Beware

The unit has video/audio surveillance at the front door and in he unit which was not disclosed in the ad or rental agreement. We would not have booked this unit had the information about surveillance been disclosed before or at booking. We rented in good faith but felt that our privacy was invaded. I spent the first couple hours cleaning the kitchen and guest bathroom as this was not done by the owners cleaning staff. The owner did offer to send the cleaning staff over but we had already brought our things in and did not want to deal with waiting for them. The ad stated new condo, I'm not sure in what context this was meant, but the unit and furnishings do not measure up to other units in the same building that are also available for rent. If you have never been to Keowee Key and enjoying lake type vacationing, this is a great place to visit.

There is a camera on the front door that can be unplugged during ones stay. It is disclosed on the listing and a sign in the entry. It is for security and not an issue to most people. We take feedback seriously and have address all other concerns.
