Lakefront home with private beach & unbelievable sunsets on Lake Keowee

“The 808 on Lake Keowee” offers the opportunity to melt away all levels of stress with one of the best panoramic views of Lake Keowee. It is also the absolute best spot on Keowee for fishing! We have underwater fishing lights that bass and catfish love!This home is a quiet escape but only minutes away from dining and shopping and just a short drive to the Clemson University campus. This professionally decorated house is perfect for spring/summer vacations, attending Clemson University activities, viewing the changing leaves in the fall, and snuggling up to the calmness of the lake in the Winter. A private beach area and magnificent sunsets are guaranteed to please.

The dock is an ideal area to experience a serene, early morning quiet time, as well as the opportunity to witness a "front row" view of a sunset containing colors of pink, purple, and blue. A covered porch with a television offers the perfect place to grill and relax in the evenings, after a fun day on the lake.

The master bedroom with a king size bed, offers the calming view of the smooth early morning lake scene. Bedroom 2 offers a queen size bed that is comforting and relaxing, with an attached bathroom. This home has a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer. A custom bar area is the perfect place to keep your beverage ingredients as you enjoy your time at "The 808". The stairs lead to a spacious loft area with both a queen size and a full size bed . This loft is a nautical-themed area for kids, as well as adults, to have their own space. Both loft beds have a great lake view. The custom made, well-stocked kitchen, meets the needs of fixing a picnic basket for your day on the lake, as well as preparing dinner as you enjoy a relaxed evening.

Lake Keowee Marina and Tiki Hut are within view of the backyard and just a short boat ride away. The Lighthouse Restaurant is a 15 minute boat ride that offers an indoor restaurant for nice dining, as well as an outdoor area for dining that is more appropriate for your fun lake day attire. If you choose, you can spend a day hiking to several locally-known waterfalls that are just a short 20-30 minute drive.

Amazing home!

My family had an exceptional stay in this amazing home. It is even better than the listing states. Sherry is very easy to communicate with from the time of booking through checkout. The house is beautiful and well stocked with everything you need. The house is very nicely decorated to feel like a home away from home. Sherry's attention to detail is evident throughout. This is our second visit and we will definitely be back again.

Perfect spot on the lake!

We absolutely loved this house on Lake Keowee. The two level deck with one level covered was wonderful for when it rained. The property is on the perfect location. We definitely will stay here again.

Visiting the kids at Clemson for the weekend.

We had a great time. The outdoor covered porch with the TV was great for game day! The house is well maintained and clean which can be hard to find with our high standards for cleanliness. We will definitely stay here again.

Property was excellent and the location on the lake was fantastic. The owners were extremely easy to communicate with and were responsive to our needs/questions. Accommodations for 2 adults (me and my wife) and four kids/teens were perfect also.

Outstanding Long Weekend Getaway

Our stay was very relaxing with incredible lake views. The house had everything we needed and plenty of room for for our party of six. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with a short drive to a Clemson football game. Easy drive back after the game also. We are looking forward to planning a return in the summer so we can enjoy the fabulous dock, fishing and clear lake water.

Beautiful house, tastefully decorated, exceptional clean, cozy neighbourhood, very nice owners ready to do everything they can to make you feel home and enjoy your stay. The lake is gorgeous in October. I recommend the place 100% and definitely will go back.

Great family experience

Can’t say enough about how great this property was. From the beautiful house to the fabulous dock we enjoyed our time there thoroughly. My 4 and 5 year olds loved the yellow slide on the dock, and yhw great fishing off the dock as well. Sherry and Shane were very accommodating and always quick to answer questions. My family has already agreed that we will be staying at the 808 again.

Amazing Spring Break Getaway

Sherry was delightful to work with. From the moment we booked, she answered any questions and was there for our needs until we checked out. The house is spectacular and the views are stunning. My kids and hubby enjoyed fishing every night and they especially loved the lights off the dock. This home is a quick drive to many restaurants and shops! Clemson was an easy for drive for us back and forth as we came to the area to visit the campus. You can't go wrong with this property!!

Little slice of paradise

This is our 2nd time back to the 808 and it did not disappoint. We love the warmth of this home and you cannot beat the location . The cove is peaceful and my family loves to paddle out to the small islands nearby . Yoga on the deck in the morning to game playing and fishing at night . Sherry provides clear directions and suggestions for anything you need and immediately responds if you need her . We can’t wait to return .

Beautiful Lake House

We are so glad we found this gem! We loved our stay! The house is beautifully decorated and very clean. All we needed was provided and more. The property owners are very friendly and respond very quickly to any messages or calls. We rented kayaks and paddle board from them and the overall process was very easy. We noticed that this year the lake had risen and covered the beach but for our little ones some of the beach to the right of the property was just fine. Overall 5 star rating

Great location and wonderful house!

House was perfect for our family of six. Location was great - in a cove so a bit sheltered from lake traffic, but right across from an island with a beach that we could kayak to, and just a few minutes' boat drive to Lake Keowee Marina to pick up friends or grab lunch at the Tiki Hut. Easy drive to Seneca (or Clemson) for shopping and restaurants. The kids had a ton of fun swimming at the dock, going off the slide, fishing, etc. The hosts were super-nice and extrememly helpful when we had any questions! The only thing I would recommend is maybe a few more forks (we barey had enough when we had another family over for dinner one night) and another cutting board. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this house to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing vacation on Lake Keowee!

Lake Keowee Delight

We had the best time! The accommodations for my family of 6 was just the right size. We have stayed at other Lake Keowee rentals before but I enjoyed this one the most. The views of the Lake, the island to explore, the wildlife, the closeness of the restaurants and stores and many other perks is why we loved this vacation home. The kitchen was well maintained and equipped to make family meals and the beds were comfy to rest in. Clean rooms and quiet cove made for a great stay. The owners were awesome to communicate with and are very friendly. Our family is grateful for the host for opening up their home to enjoy for the week in July that we visited the Lake! We hope to come back again one day! Oh, and I almost forgot the fishing is fabulous here too! Best place to stay on the Lake Keowee for sure!

We purchased this lot and built our house here because of the magnificent open view of Lake Keowee and the close proximity to the lake. The neighborhood is quiet as well.

What makes this property unique

This house is apx. 25 yards from the lake. Many houses for rent on Lake Keowee require you to walk a longer distance to enjoy the lake. Many are positioned on a hill and the guests have to maneuver steps and steep inclines, in order to get to and from the lake. Here, the back deck and the dock walkway are separated by a short distance of stepping stones. When you awake in the master bed, look out the windows and you see nothing but water, feeling instantly happy and calm.

The back deck is covered and has a TV for porch entertainment and relaxation to end a fun filled lake day.
