The lake house was in a wonderful location and was fully equipped with everything you might need. Great view of the lake and sunrise.Jim, the host, was very responsive to our questions.Unfortunately our time was limited as we were there for a football game and the weather was a little cool and breezy so we did not partake of the kayaks and canoe that were available.We would definitely stay again.

We had an incredible trip to this property and enjoyed all the amenities! The view of the lake is spectacular, there was one ry of room for our family and friends that came to visit. The kitchen has everything you could need. The kayaks were a hit and so was football and ping pong. We felt at home for the week we stayed and the hosts are amazing! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lake house! The home itself is very nice, clean, and well-equipped. The dock was absolutely fantastic and we spent so much time enjoying the lake views. It's nice to find a place that is so close to the water without much of a slope. The host was wonderful to communicate with. We would love to come back again in the future and highly recommend this property! My only wish is for the property to have some gradual steps in and out of the water opposed to the ladder type stairs so I can bring my Mom next time.

Beautiful home! My family thoroughly enjoyed fishing and kayaking from the dock! Would stay again if a few minor things were updated.Pros: plenty of space for our group, large stocked kitchen, lots of water toys for the dock, tons of seating, quiet area of the lake to enjoy kayaking and fishing. Tons of towels and linens! Owners were very easy to communicate with. Cons: Beds are a little firm. Ping pong table was in the garage with owner’s personal car/jet ski, etc., which made it difficult to have space to play…along with garage being dirty and smelling of gasoline. Grill was very dirty and had to be cleaned before use.

Thank you for your concerns. I personally vacuumed the garage 2 weeks ago, but I guess that it was not cleaned enough. Thank you for telling us about the gas smell. We have never smelt that or heard that from anyone else. Also, we cleaned the grill 2 weeks ago, but I guess the previous guests used it and did not clean it up. We are glad that you had a great experience and we appreciated you sharing these suggestions. We want each guest to have a five-star wonderful visit to beautiful Lake Keowee. Jim and Gail

The location is excellent! There is a full kitchen, multiple bedrooms with baths, and family area down the basement. The pillows and mattresses were a little firm for our taste but part of it may be the age of the home. There was also a few issues with locks on the doors… I think the moisture from the lake may have impacted them. The host was very nice when we had issues and responded quickly. The play area is not quite as large as it appears online, and the first driveway is fairly narrow and steep. But the second driveway had ample space to bring a larger vehicle down and turn it around.

Host was easy to contact and communicate with. Lake view and access was amazing! The house is nice, just needs a little TLC. The driveway was a little steep if pulling a boat but can accommodate a couple of cars

The home was beautiful, the amenities fantastic, and we especially enjoyed the kayaks! The kitchen was also stocked with all the basics we needed which saved us from additional grocery expense for items we would only be using for a couple of days. The owner was also a delight to work with. Wonderful experience!
