We had a wonderful stay. The home was immaculate, exceptionally clean, and felt almost brand new. It was well furnished, comfortable, and offered beautiful lake views that made it a great spot for a family vacation.The property had everything we needed for a relaxing stay on the water. The only thing future guests should be aware of is the steep walk down to the dock, which may be challenging for anyone with mobility concerns. Other than that, the experience was excellent, and we would gladly stay here again.

We also appreciate your comment regarding the walk to the dock. As with most lakefront properties, there is a gradual slope from the yard to the water. One feature many guests enjoy is that our property offers a larger, more level lakeside yard than is typical for homes on the lake. During periods of unusually low water levels, the dock access ramp can become steeper as it adjusts to changing lake conditions, which may have contributed to your experience, due to our recent drought. We truly enjoyed our time at the house. It was so nice to wake up in the morning (from sleeping well in the comfortable beds), walk into the living room, and see the lake from all of the windows. We spent as much time outside as we could on the deck and on the dock. The showers were great with good water pressure and everything was clean. We enjoyed playing one of the board games and looking for the ducks. The little extras made this place stand out from other rentals.

The home on the lake named The Sheltered Shores was perfect! I reserved it for three weeks so that family and friends could come and go as their calendars allowed. I was delighted on check-in day with the cleanliness and the detail. The owners thought of everything- the kitchen drawers were labeled, bathrooms were well equipped, the three different seating locations provided comfort at any time of the day. There was the air-conditioned den, the screened in porch for early morning and late night, and the deck for meals with my grandchildren , and meditations on the beauty of the lake. My grandchildren loved making the s’mores that the owners had left in the kitchen for our use. There were a lot of lake “toys” so everyone enjoyed either this equipment or my island raft that I had bought. We rented a boat on two different occasions. My friend and I went into Seneca, shopped on Ram Cat Alley, and had a delicious lunch at Presst. I was able to get in a lot of reading, napping, cooking meals for all the people, and thoroughly enjoying the home. The most common remark I would get from my friends and family was, “How did you find this place?” it was said in awe. The approach to the home is beautifully landscaped and the views of the lake from inside the home took their breaths away. There was plenty of parking. And, as per their write up, the area down at the lake had beautiful trees that shaded me when I did not want to be in the sun. I highly recommend this home.

An absolute wonderful place to stay! Great location! plenty of room for parking and room for a trailer if you’re bringing your boat! The boat dock was very nice and covered with chairs, life vests and other inflatables. Kayak launch, grill, nice firepit by the water and wood supply! Very welcoming with the wonderful smell of freshly baked loaf of bread in the bread maker (unexpected surprise!), fun duck scavenger hunt! The hosts were very accommodating with snacks, toothbrushes, floss, bug bite cream and basket for our fur baby such as towels, food bowl.Loved the added cloths for makeup remover, shampoo/conditioner/soap dispensers. Communication was great! We hope to stay here again next year!

The host was very welcoming. The amenities were lovely. A beautiful property. It is a relaxing retreat environment for a very small group of people. The house is very large, but only 8 people are allowed on the property at a time. This is the first time I have encountered this type limitation.It was dog friendly. They made many accommodations for dogs. This was a big plus for us.The owners were kind and gracious.

Lake Keowee Vacation

Lee and Amanda have a beautiful home on the lake. This was our third stay and each time it gets better! The little touches they add each your, not to mention the amazing new deck last year, make it the perfect spot for our family. Perfect spot for a family of 4 and our dog! This place was better than advertised. I don't want to share too much, as I don't want other folks booking this place too much. We plan to return! Nice flat lot for the dog to run. Great fishing from the kayaks. Awesome downtown in Seneca. Check out Keowee Brewery- and very cool Christmas lights on the square with funnel cakes and deep fried oreos. Nice quiet neighborhood- great for walks or running. Lovely interior, very clean and spacious, awesome for watching TV or reading with a view of the lake! Our boys, 13, and 15, enjoyed sleeping in the loft. Hosts were very accessible, even though we had no issues!

We are a family of five that love coming to the lake, getting away from" real life" , and just spending quality family time here. We love the hiking areas locally and the atmosphere of Lake Keowee. We previously owned and rented out a different lake home (with lots of steps) and are happy to now have this home on a cove and a level yard.
