Marvelous week at the Old Byre
Very cosy place. Warm welcome by Chris, the owner. A nice place to return to. The Sligo area has so much to offer that we did not manage all we had been looking forward to. The nature around Sligo is stunning. We very much enjoyed our walks to Coney Island, the Devil’s Chimney or the hike to Queen Maeve‘s grave. Also the Strandhill people’s market at Sligo airport was lovely, with artist Tony Osborne‘s display of outstanding paintings. 5 stars for both Chris‘ cottage and the Sligo area

Wonderful stay at The Old Byre
We really enjoyed our stay at The Old Byre. The cottage and grounds are absolutely beautiful. The Byre is cosy and very well equipped with everything you may need. We especially liked having coffee in the morning in the sunroom with those incredible views! It's in the countryside, but the town centre is only about a 3 km walk away. Chris, the host/owner, was fantastic! Very friendly and helpful! Couldn't ask for a better host! We really enjoyed our chats with him! We would definitely stay at the Byre again and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique, peaceful and relaxing holiday rental!
