Nenagh Heritage Centre is situated in two stone Georgian buildings which were built as the Governor’s House and Gatehouse of an extensive goal complex for North Tipperary. The building is placed just a short walk from Nenagh town centre. Nenagh Castle has been magnificently restored and is now open to visitors. Climb over 100 steps to the top for panoramic views of the surrounding areas. Keeper Hill is the highest mountain in the Silvermines area and the 117th highest in Ireland. Don't miss the tribute to Olympians, and find out what's going on in Nenagh Arts Centre to keep you entertained during your stay. Walking tours of the town are also available by a local tour guide.
