Perfect Year-Round Getaway in Mammoth Lakes

Whether you’re planning a Mammoth Mountain ski-cation in the winter or a summertime retreat filled with hiking, watersports, and outdoor adventure this condo is the ideal choice. Just a short walk from the lifts at Eagle Lodge, this cozy retreat features a covered patio, wood stove, and access to resort-style amenities for a memorable family vacation.

Located right on Meridian Blvd. in Mammoth Lakes, you’ll be close to it all. In the winter, enjoy easy access to Eagle Lodge and, for even more skiing, Tamarack Cross Country Ski Center just five miles away. When the snow melts, head five miles south to Lake Mary, where the Pack Station offers horseback riding and the marina provides paddleboard and watercraft rentals for a fun day on the lake.

Ideal for a family of four or two couples, the condo offers free WiFi, two flatscreen cable TVs, a DVD player, a wood stove, and plenty of space to relax after a day outdoors. Guests will also enjoy access to the community’s seasonal outdoor pool, hot tubs, saunas, fitness room and tennis/pickleball courts during summer months.

The apartment, was nice and clean ,location was really close to Eagle lodge (6 -7minutes walk ) but the bathroom/ toilet fan didn’t work. Also no Entertainment on Tv , not even basic channels. But overall happy with the stay .

The property was totally fine just as depicted online. Though the mattress was old and had big body shaped craters in it. The property management company on the other hand was bad. Their checkin instructions were lousy and unclear. The “emergency” phone numbers they provided went no where. The property wasn’t properly cleaned with toothpaste goobers all over the faucet, nasty bathroom mirror, stained sheets... Too bad these owners went with such a bad management company. If they got a new mattress and a new management crew they’d be in great shpe.

Our check-in package was not in the lock box. The phone number for assistance was in Los Angeles and it took 6 phone calls to find a local representative to answer. A key for the condo was brought to us in 15 minutes, but it was not explained that there are 6 buildings at the address each of which has our condo number. It took us 2 frustrating hours overall to access the place we reserved but once we settled in it was enjoyable for the rest of the 2day visit.

Spring skiing at Mammoth is always great when you are only a small distance to the lifts. We got to sleep in, eat breakfast and still get to the slopes with plenty of runs for the day. After, sit in the Jacuzzi with a glass of wine and enjoy the rest of the light, then get up and do it again! Wonderful...

Great Condo, Walk to Eagle Express

We enjoyed our stay at Summit 206. My daughter has allergies to dust mites and this place was so clean she didn't sneeze once. We enjoyed the wood stove and cooking meals in. The living area is large enough to have a couple guests over for dinner, but the kitchen only has room for one cook. We were a family of four and brought a twin airbed to supplement the sofa. Plenty of room .

We had a perfect stay in this condo. It looks in real life like these photos. So you won't be disappointed. Because of the timing of our stay in the resort area, it was is very quiet (Yay!) and uncrowded (Yay again!). We plan to return next year. (Tip: Add ing a tea kettle to the kitchen supplies would be a nice perk :) )

UNNOTIFIED RENOVATIONS GOING ON DURING ENTIRE STAY

Although the unit was clean, comfortable, and as advertised, the whole first floor ceiling of the building where the unit is located was under construction for our entire stay. We were not notified in advance that this would be going on. We had to walk through a construction zone consisting of loud machinery, ladders, and big chunks of drywall. The dust that this created was unhealthy to be breathing, as the workers were all wearing masks. The laundry facility was gutted and not operational. The adjacent building was under construction as well, with loud machinery, making it impossible to take a nap after a hike or a long day on the lake. This put a huge damper on our visit that we were really looking forward to after months of planning. We have been to the beautiful Mammoth Lakes area many times but have never stayed in this unit before. We will be sure to look elsewhere to stay the next time we visit.
