A delightful cottage, very nicely presented by the owners who live next door.
A delightful cottage, very nicely presented by the owners who live next door. We couldn’t think of anything that they had omitted to provide in the way of equipment and furnishings. It is in a beautiful location, even in the depths of winter. The kitchen is quite small but still very usable and they have even managed to fit in a washing machine under the stairs. No freezer but the icebox in the fridge is a good size. A nice split level lawned garden and generous patio which our dog enjoyed exploring. We certainly won’t hesitate to go there again, probably in the summer next time when we can enjoy the nearby attractions and scenery on offer.

We would definitely return to this house.
We would definitely return to this house. Great for a family of three (the second bedroom is the mezzanine gallery of the main bedroom) and we had two dogs. The house is small but well equipped and clearly designed throughout to ensure your stay is comfortable. It is immaculate. We loved the underfloor heating downstairs. The garden is enclosed by stunning hand built Yorkshire walls. Great view from the main bedroom into the garden. We loved the location for the walking, cycling and food opportunities we wanted. The food scene is great locally if you love cooking. A big shout to The Dairy Courtyard (superb cheeses), Ambery bakery (brilliant bread and pastries), organic vegetable team. A visit to Kirby Londsale is a must.
