Newly converted barn set in rural setting within a short distance of the three-peaks, Yorkshire Dales and the Trough of Bowland. The Lake District is just 35 minutes away.

You will have access to a garden and a private stretch of river. Fishing rights are available
- note, a rod licence is required, available online or from the post office.

Should you wish to bring horses, grazing is available by prior arrangement.

Hot tub model: SOFTUB LEGEND 220 (4 people maximum)- for the exclusive use of guest at River Bank Cottage.

We welcome up to two well behaved dogs; however they would need to be kept on a lead while outside.

Birthday break

Had a lovely weekend stay, the cottage was beautiful and set in lovely grounds. Locals in the village were nice and friendly, we will be back šŸ˜

Beautiful accommodation

The place was very cosy, beautifully furnished, and very clean. The surrounding area was lovely and we visited a few of the small towns for walks/meals. Due to the weather we didn't get out as much as we would have liked, but the barn was so nice that we were happy to stay in by the fire.

Enjoyable stay

A family stay over Xmas. Lovely Barn conversion done to high standards. Peaceful with a lovely location and has everything you need to have an enjoyable stay. Enjoyed the use of hot tub, and the building is kept lovely and warm with the Google nest thermostats all around. I would say it could do with more lighting around the garden and buildings for this type of year, glad we took our torch, but this is very minor. Would definitely return and stay again.

Not amazing

We stayed here for 2 nights. The property overall was lovely and the location is beautiful but we were really disappointed we werenā€™t informed there was a resident cat and our small dog was terrified of it and we needed to keep the doors closed in blazing heat to keep him away. The hot tub was quite dirty and did smell so we didnā€™t spend much time in there. Would have liked there to have been a gate on the balcony as itā€™s advertised as dog friendly but for a small dog itā€™s very dangerous so we needed to keep her on a lead at all times. Would have liked to have been informed that there is another property directly next door where others are staying for a holiday as website does not state this or show it when booking, luckily the other guests were lovely and really quiet so did not end up being an issue, we were just surprised. Overall the property itself was really lovely and the location is gorgeous we just wouldnā€™t stay again due to the above. I think itā€™s more suitable for just adults and no dogs.
