This was an IDEAL property for visiting Malta. The 2-bedroom flat is centrally located in Valletta, and just a few blocks from the ferry, and gondolas to the "three cities" across the harbor. The area around there is very safe, well-lit, and cameras on all buildings and streets. Once you leave the flat, you walk up two sets of cobblestone steps to get to the main area. There are restaurants, bars, shops, churches, and BEAUTIFUL sights within a easy walk. The flat itself was clean, well-maintained, the AC worked well, there was an elevator to get to the floor, a washing machine and detergent to do laundry, and the owner/manager was very quick and helpful to answer questions on WhatsApp.
If you are considering renting a car, know that the streets are tight and parking is really for residents. We opted to park in a garage outside the entrance to the city. It was easy to get in/out but is a 15-minute walk from the flat.
We loved being on this side of the harbor vice in Silema as there is so much to do in Valletta. The food is incredible no matter where you go, but our favorites were Rampila in Valletta and any of the seafood places by the Sliema ferry dock.
