The gated entrance leads you to the shingle forecourt, where you'll find ample parking space and be greeted by the charming exterior. Inside, the stable door welcomes you into a spacious, well-equipped kitchen with a dining area from where you can enjoy beautiful views of the garden and grounds. After a day spent exploring Oxfordshire and the surrounding Cotswold villages, the sitting room provides the perfect place to relax. It features comfortable sofas and a wood-burning stove, creating a lovely setting for a cosy evening in. Additionally, the room has an extra seating area that's ideal for family games night.
Upstairs, both bedrooms enjoy gorgeous views of the river and the surrounding countryside. The main bedroom, Wayland, features a walk-through dressing room and an en-suite shower room. It also boasts a large west-facing balcony that's perfect for watching the sunset during the warmer months. Skylark bedroom offers an en-suite shower room and a lovely downstream view of the Thames.
Outside, the decked terrace area overlooks the garden and provides a beautiful view of the river, where you can watch swans, boats, canoeists and paddle boarders passing by. The garden has ample seating for al fresco dining, making Radcot Bridge Cottage the perfect rural retreat.
For larger parties, Radcot Bridge Cottage is also available to book for six guests, with year-round availability.

There are a couple of steps leading up to the property.
The wooden stairs leading from the ground floor to the first floor have a higher tread than a standard staircase. There are handrails in place to aid ascending and descending the stairs.
Water to the cottage is supplied by a well in the garden.
The River Thames is located at the bottom of the garden and is unfenced. Please supervise children and dogs at all times. Anyone accessing the river does so entirely at their own risk.
Anglers may fish from the garden of the cottage and along the banks of the Thames from 16th June to 15th March. A rod licence is required for the Radcot Angling Club (currently £2.50 per day), please contact the property owner on arrival.
Access to the cottage is via a locked gate with a combination code. The gate is also used by the owners of the boats which are moored on the river around the private paddock, to the side of the cottage.
During their stay, guests can enjoy a complimentary private guided tour around the moated gardens and museum at Friars Court (1 mile from the cottage).
