About this property

Cotswolds heaven, feed the alpacas and relax in luxury cottage with hot tub

Middle Wymson House is set in the secluded grounds of a hIstoric Grade 2 listed thatched farmhouse in the pretty hamlet of Wimpstone surrounded by some of Warwickshire's most delightful countryside.
The house is perfectly located for Stratford upon Avon for everything Shakespeare, riverside walks, the races, busy pubs and fabulous restaurants. If this is not enough the Cotswolds offers charming villages and historic houses for a little more culture. And if the city life is more to your liking, Birmingham and the NEC are just under an hour away and Warwick, Leamington Spa and Cheltenham are a lot closer.
The House overlooks the paddock where you can watch over the alpacas and pygmy goats. All are happy to be fed and cuddled at anytime!
Having undergone complete renovation the house leaves you wanting for nothing. Modern fittings are perfectly balanced with the charm of an historic building. It offers you a luxurious home with three beautifully appointed bedrooms all with en-suites, a spacious open plan kitchen, living and dining area with stunning vaulted ceiling and mezzanine floor. You can enjoy the rural life; nestle by the roaring fire or relax outside in the hot tub watching the alpacas graze and the goats play.

Perfect Place and Location!
First of all, Kay was absolutely lovely and was so flexible with some of our travel mess ups and delays. Thank you Kay! Second - have been to Cotswolds several times, I would say this is one of the best locations as far as being out but in - it was literally minutes down the road from Stratford and then driving to other towns was very convenient. We didn’t really end up with much time at the property but the little we were there I would definitely come back! It was so quaint and Cotswoldish! Beds were comfy and full bathrooms for all bedrooms, plus some! Would highly recommend!

Special birthday weekend
A lovely, well equipped cottage in a beautiful location. Kay was so helpful and gave us useful information on the local area. Nothing was too much trouble. It was fun to use the hot tub, especially at night. It was a delight to feed the alpacas and goats. Finally couldn't finish the review without mentioning the dog Buttercup, she was so sweet and turn up at 7.00pm every night when food was being cooked. I would definitely return.

Fantastic new year break
I booked Middle Wymson Farm as a long weekend break over new year for myself, children & some friends. Kay was fantastic; greeting us upon arrival, full of all the info we would need, friendly & welcoming. We felt at ease instantly & that if needed we could ask for anything, be it advice, recommendations or such like. The accommodation was quirky & quaint, suited our needs perfectly. The hot tub was amazing, the animals were also a lovely addition & the kids enjoyed feeding /watching them. We found the location perfect in that it was out of the way of ang hustle & bustle but in short driving distance to countless amazing places. Could easily have stay a month & still need more time to see & do everything! Would 100% recommend & stay again. Thankyou so much for having us ❤️
