Abbey view Farm Cottage is a detached barn conversion housing a kitchen/diner and a sitting room. Appliances include an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, Smart TV and woodburning stove. There is a double bedroom, serviced by a shower room. To the outside is an enclosed garden and patio with furniture, as well as off-road parking for two cars. Within 2.5 miles there is a shop and within 1.3 miles there is a pub, and please note this is a pet and smoke-free property. A travel cot and highchair are also available on request. WiFi, fuel, power, logs for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Abbey view Farm Cottage has everything for a wonderful stay in Staffordshire. Please Note: Friday check in only, please inquire if you wish to check in on another day.

Town: The attractive rural village of Alton lies on the western fringes of the Peak District in lovely moorland countryside, between the market towns of Leek and Ashbourne. The village offers a post office, village shop and pubs serving food. The surrounding countryside is excellent for walking and cycling with miles of woodland trails and moorland hikes to enjoy. Dovedale and the limestone Churnet Valley are on the doorstep and The Manifold Trail is close by. There is easy access to many of the area's attractions including Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Lyme Park (NT) as seen in TV’s Pride & Prejudice and the NT Ilam Estate. A great touring base for all the Peak District - and Alton Towers with its many rides and attractions is just a short drive away!
