About this property

Beautiful, private, garden, woodland sanctuary

Secluded woodland retreat - a private space with everything you need to enjoy peace, tranquility and room to breathe. Self-contained kitchen with views of the woods and gardens all around.
The space
Our garden room, we affectionately call The Faun House is a large open plan space with kitchen, bathroom and very comfortable living room/bedroom. Own access with privacy blinds, lots of light, room to practice yoga and watch the projector TV or just enjoy listening to the birds in the trees. Very happy to host longer term singles, tech nomads, nature lovers 💚
Other things to note: loads of wonderful woodland walks around, local gastro pub and the famous Deepcut Cafe for brunch and great coffee.
As there is no clothes washing facilities in the house, we are happy to do washing and drying for Guests anytime.

Hello, I'm Kate, a Yoga and Movement Physical Therapist. I've lived in the area for 23 years and love the peaceful woodland nature of Deepcut Village. Blackdown Road is private so theres plenty of free parking and no traffic noise. I run a clinic from my home here so I'm often around to help Guests with any questions, however you will feel secluded and private in the Faun House, as if you're part of nature. Squirrels and birds trot around your verandah as you look out onto the pretty garden. I have had many long and short term guests here and have been a 5 Star Super Host with Airbnb for 5 years.

Why they chose this property

Deepcut is a sleepy village, almost forgotten about until recently when some smart and sensitive development has begun to upgrade the area which was traditionally the home of the Royal Logistics British Army Corps. We are situation about a 10 minute walk to the lovely Basingstoke Canal where you can walk, cycle or kayak all year round. We are also within a 15 minute drive to Royal Ascot, Virginia Water, beautiful Saville Gardens and just 20 minutes to Legoland and Royal Windsor.

What makes this property unique

My home is unique because it reflects my peaceful, zen lifestyle. The house was designed by myself and my best friend to reflect all the things we liked about Airbnbs we had visited over many years. Life is simple in the Faun House. You have everything you need and nothing to distract you from enjoying life in nature.
