Oozing luxury and charm, this delightful cottage is ideal for a small family or couples.
As you enter the house, you are greeted by an open plan living room, kitchen, and dining area. There is something so charming and welcoming about this room, you’ll be tempted to kick off your shoes and relax in front of the fireplace before you contemplate unpacking. There’s plenty of comfy seating for four and a Smart TV to watch your favourite Netflix series or a film. There’s a fully equipped modern kitchen, perfect for cooking up a holiday feast. A thoughtful welcome hamper awaits you on arrival. A boutique hotel bathroom, with large walk-in shower, rainfall shower head, and sink, set within a modern vanity unit with mirror above, is found on the first floor. Additionally, on the first floor you will find a bedroom with a luxurious kingsize bed with a pillowtop mattress, quality furnishings, a solid oak wardrobe, and a dressing table and stool. A second flight of stairs leads to a bedroom with a stunning Scandinavian feature wall, two luxury single beds, and storage space. To ensure a good night’s sleep, there is a blackout blind on the Velux window.
Kirkby Lonsdale is a small and relatively unspoilt market town situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Kirkby Lonsdale itself is a historic, quaint market town with a growing reputation for high quality independent shopping, as well as excellent restaurants, cafés and bars. The town is notably home to the 14th century Devil’s Bridge, as well as Ruskin’s View. With so much to see and do in the area, you can choose to keep yourself busy or perhaps simply relax and enjoy the peace and beauty that Kirkby Lonsdale has to offer. Ingleton, set within the Yorkshire Dales National Park, is a 20-minute drive away. If you’re feeling energetic join the famous waterfalls trail or explore the Whitescar Caves. There’s an abundance of pubs, cafés, bars and restaurants there too, including a cosy and quirky microbar. The Lake District and Lancaster are 30 minutes away. Beach 11½ miles.
