Your Private retreat on almost an acre nestled on a canal to the Withlacoochee River that wraps around 2 sides of the property. Sit back and relax on your porch overlooking the water while you watch the hummingbirds, woodpeckers, and deer play. Cabin decor is tranquil and invites rest. The young-at-heart will love the sandbox, children's room with toys, pool and ping pong table, and lawn activities and tire swing! Kayak and Jon boat available to our guests who are awaiting adventure. Plan some time bonding around the fire pit, walking the trails, lounging in the hammocks, and fishing on the dock. Private, Quiet Retreat

We needed a quick get away to a peaceful place. We couldn't have found a more perfect spot. Everything we needed was here. Casey responded immediately to my texts and made sure everything was as smooth as possible. We would definitely stay here again without any hesitation.

Perfectly Serene

The property is perfectly serene; on a quiet canal in a small community. While at the house I was able to relax while surrounded by lush vegetation and calming waters without ever seeing another soul. I saw many birds, turtles, deer and turkeys during my walks. The house is very comfortable with all the conveniences of home.

Perfect winter retreat

This was our second visit. We enjoyed it as much as last time. The fire pit is perfect in the cooler weather and just sitting on the deck with your coffee is a perfect start to a quiet day!

Secluded shores

Such a quiet peace full spot along the river, tucked away off the beaten path. Great place to relax and enjoy nature. The house is awesome too! I loved the kitchen and cooked up a storm in there.

Unwind & Relax

We always enjoy our stay at the quaint river cabin. It's such a nice, quiet place to get away from it all and just relax. There's so many cozy spots inside and out, to sit and unwind and watch the water flow by. Thanks for sharing your home with us (again)!

What a great weekend getaway!

We had the most relaxing weekend away at this cabin! The property was so serene and even better than the pictures. There were many accommodations included with this rental like movies, games, fishing poles and a John boat. It was a really great weekend away from reality that left us wishing we could stay a little longer. Hoping to vacation here again soon!

Most relaxing getaway

We absolutely lived the cabin and all the amenities- a DVD library that is out of this world. We will definitely be back in the cooler months to take advantage of the wonderful porch. Casey and Mike were fantastic from check in to check out.

A Wonderful Taste of Old Florida

A delightful cottage in a beautiful and peaceful setting. Especially enjoyed the deck overlooking the canal as a place for reading and reflection during my stay. The owners are delightful people who were quick to respond to every question. I highly recommend the cottage as a place for refreshment and renewal while enjoying a taste of old Florida.

Wonderful Private House on Canal

My husband and I spent 2 weeks at this wonderful property. The owners have thought of virtually everything to make a stay at this house a comfortable and relaxing one. We had a great time kayaking and fishing off the dock. We recommend this rental without any hesitation!

Peaceful and relaxing stay!

This is the place for you to be in case you are looking to connect with nature and your family! Cabin is cozy and has everything you need, including internet, a TV, plenty of DVDs, a video game and traditional games. During our stay we tried to stay away from electronics and focused on the traditional games, but they are available in case you want to take advantage of them! There are also outdoor games and a ping pong table downstairs, which we enjoyed very much. Aside of all resources, what really matters here is the nature and the river surrounding the cabin. Nothing like waking up and have breakfast at the porch or deck looking at nature as its best, having lunch and dinner at one of the picnic tables and even better, roast your own sausages, hotdogs and marshmallows at the fire pit. The variety of birds here is also huge and we had the opportunity to see many species, including woodpeckers, cranes and wild turkeys. This is the ideal place to disconnect, do nothing at all and just reconnect with yourself and your family. Many lasting memories have been built during the week we spent there and we look forward to getting back soon! Thank you for sharing such a lovely place with us!

Great place!

My family of 5 enjoyed the place so much. It was perfect for us to get away from city-life and celebrate my daughter’s birthday. There were a lot of things for the kids to enjoy, definitely a kid friendly place. We got to see a few deers, which was pretty cool. It was such a cold weekend in the high 50’s and low 20’s the weekend we stayed. We enjoyed the bonfire outside and the central heat in the home worked great to keep us warm! The hosts were excellent as well! Very responsive!

So relaxing!

We loved our weekend at this cabin. My grandbaby at 18 months had plenty to keep him happy and busy. He loved the swings and sandbox! We enjoyed Kayaking, fishing, hiking, playing board games, cornhole, and having a fire pit at night. Of course now we have a family debate going as to best s'mores methods. Aluminum foil packets vs stick, melt and stack method. We had all we needed and look forward to going back soon. Hopefully it will be a little better weather next time.

Private getaway

This home is just right! We felt like we had plenty of space while being together. The kitchen is roomy. We noticed it is a very kid safe place. The stairs up to the house have a locking gate at the top. The rails are in great shape. The setting on the water is absolutely gorgeous & serene. There are plenty of toys, puzzles, and games to keep busy! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Wonderful Stay

This is our second time staying at the l ving Waters property .last time it was just my husband and I this time it was with our kids and grandchildren. The experience was even better the second time. The property is just wonderful for young children so much to do on the property you didn't even have to leave .. they enjoyed the ride on the jon boat, swings the sandbox ,the campfires, fishing on the dock and just sitting on the dock looking out of the beautiful River . It was truly a wonderful experience and time well spent with family

We wanted a get-away that was a rest for us. Somewhere to get away from it all and enjoy God's creation!

What makes this property unique

The benefits are a quiet get-away from the hustle and bustle. You have full access to the property. A Full kitchen, lots of dvds and video game consoles, lots of family games to play, 3 kayaks and a jon boat, hammocks. fishing gear, fire pit with smores, grill....why pay $$ for all these extra activities somewhere else. All-inclusive :-)
